Worse case?
First time, shame on you,
Second time, shame on me.

Smell the holly,
Merry Christmas!

I have the 70d and had the same dilemma. Finally, went for the EF-S 15-85 f/3.5-5.6 IS. "Happy-happy-happy" to quote Phil Robertson.

I was interested in this workshop so I followed the link to FStoppers site and it was advertised that they had one set still available so I purchased it only to be forwarded to a page to download 7 zip files. I wrote their help department to ask about when I would be receiving the DVD set and they wrote back:
Because the quality of the downloads are so high, we were unable to fit the files onto a DVD.

If you have a dvd drive on your computer, it likely will burn dual layer DVDs, which hold about 8.5 gig. You can find them at any Best Buy, Staples, Office Max/Depot, etc. Hopefully, the videos are mpeg or mov (etc), which you can drag and drop into almost any dvd burning software. As you add the 7 files, the software will tell you if you exceed the capacity of the DVD in your burner. That will give you the option of burning more than one DVD. If you don't have dual layer DVDs, a single layer DVD holds 4.7 gig. Once again, the software (assuming you can load the 7 videos individually) will tell you when you've selected too much. So, you can burn videos 1-3 on DVD1, 4-5 on DVD2, 6-7 on DVD3. You get the picture. Don't forget to close out the DVD at the end of the burn so you can play it on any DVD player or computer. PM me if you have any questions. We can also talk about your options if you don't have a DVD burner.

I just went to the Amazon ad and read a couple reviews. The first reviewer stated that the disks were DVD-ROM, which aren't compatible with an over a TV DVD player. Interesting.

I'm trying to put together camera bag for my upcoming trip to Australia. I'm planning on shooting with a T5i and I would like to hear thoughts as to what else I should put it in my bag.

Wife & I went a few years ago and convinced myself of the same dilemma. Think about a compact (Canon G16) and a bridge (Canon SX60). You'll enjoy less lugging and more seeing.

The set is available from Amazon for less than $70 HERE That's 55% off!
I think I have a suggestion of what I want for Christmas.
Thanks!

Amazon says "no longer available" and don't know when it will return.

Sounds like a long winded way of saying there are too many blah-blah pictures on the internet and it's getting worse every day. :-D

I guess we could reluctantly say the same for redundant forum and blog postings.

That IS a really good deal! I paid $315 for a refurb thru Canon's website about 3 months ago and thought I'd stuck gold. Shows what can habit when a new model is released. Suppose that's why the resale value of my 60D went rock bottom with introduction of the 70D?

I seem to have to read it over and over. By the time I get to the end, I've forgotten why I'm there.

I'll join the repliers who have had nothing but good luck with Canon service. My 70D and SW50 were both refurbs. I have also purchased a couple S100 when they were deep discounted. The 70D had dust on the focus screen that didn't affect exposures. Canon took care of it and I had it back in about a week. I join a previous replier who suggested providing as much detail as possible in describing your issue with the lens. Good luck.

Real powerful and pleasant voice. She reeks of Amy Winehouse!

Yup, very bluesy. The Amy really comes through about 2/3 into the song. "I like it, like it a lot." Thanks for sharing bcheary!

Thanks for sharing. Antelope Canyon is a fun place to shoot. All things being equal, it's a lot about time of day.

I guess this is what you get to expect if you don't fly First Class and you want to get out of Siberia.

Them folks WERE 1st Class. By Putin's direction, all Russian passengers fly 1st Class.
