Put VR in the camera to On. Then use the BR control on the slider to On for on and to Off to turn it off. The lens will turn the BR on camera to off. On if hand holding and Off if in tripod.

When attaching a VR lens (i.e. 70-200 F4 Nikon) to a Z6 should I shut off VR on the lens?

Since the camera has VR do I have to shut the lens version off or it that automatic by the camera?

I have the nikon battery that came with a d610 and a d750. How can i tell if i have the right type?, 20 style or 01 style?

Does the old EN-EL15 Nikon battery work effectively in the Z6?

I have a couple of these batteries from my D610 and D750. Considering getting a Z6 but concerned that my D750 can get 1500 shots with one battery.
But I realize that the battery in the Z6 is doing a lot more like running the VR system and multiple displays etc.
Has anyone tried to see how many shots can be obtained with the older EN-EL15 battery. I realize the newer battery that comes with the Z6 give maybe 700 shots.
