I think going gaa gaa over black and white is nothing but being pretentious. Would MUCH prefer seeing them in NATURAL color. Sorry for offending some!
Sorry I hurt your feelings! I just have a hard time understanding the fascination with a format that was replaced with color. Do you think that Ansel Adams would not have embraced color if it was available? He did wonders with the available technology, including his darkroom work. I'm convinced that he would have loved it. When I started taking pictures (1947), B&W was all there was. I spent my time in the darkroom. When color arrived I couldn't embrace it quickly enough. As for your comment about my inability to express myself............I agree.
Thank you for a beautiful color image. Also, thanks for not ruining it with B&W. I had an opportunity to ride in a small plane and approached this mountain at an altitude of about 4000 feet. What a wonderful sight!! Even with my limited expertise, I I got some spectacular shots.
Sorry, Curmudgeon, but B&W is SELDOM good. I wish I could see this in color so that I would know how they actually look!
Another beautiful COLOR image. Thank you!
Wonderful COLOR shot. Have you been there during the Christmas season? Another great time for COLOR images!
Sure wish it was in color. Would have been nice to see it as it is.
I do NOT like B&W!!!!! Some of these would have been lovely in NATURAL color! Just don't understand the fascination some people have with the OUTDATED genre. I know, I'm just too stupid to get it.
Sorry to disagree, but it looks MUCH better in color. Just don't understand this fascination with an outdated way to show an image. Reminds me of the "expert" staring at a blank wall and saying how exciting and talented the artist was! "LOOK, the emperor has no clothes on"
Bet it would look MUCH better in color!
Sure would like to see it in color! B&W is just drab to me. Sorry.............
You're welcome. As you can tell, I'm not a fan of B&W.
I MUCH prefer it in color. Sorry.
Wonder why you couldn't have provided a download for each shot. Details would have been wonderful to me at least. I was there in 1967.
Thank you. These shots convey MUCH more to me. I know a lot of people like black and white, but it just doesn't work for me.
