Just west of the small Bavarian town of Leavenworth, Washington is this pond formed by the Tumwater Dam on the Wenatchee River. Aside from the haze and pond scum, I found the fall colors quite striking. The only tweaking that was done were a few minor adjustment in the raw stage and a few enhancements with the Luminar Flex plugin. I suppose I could have cropped out the haze, but that would have damaged the overall view, in my opinion. If you go there, do so on a week day. The area on a weekend is a madhouse with people. Much like ants on an anthill. Comments are welcome. Ken
Great great shot here. Love the lines. Good eye too.
Very nice. You nailed the fall colors. Leavenworth is a fun place, but like you say, avoid it on a weekend or a holiday. Thanks for sharing.
I like the way this shot draws you in.
Very nice shot. We really like to visit Leavenworth, especially in the Fall. If you can create a layer in PP, you could dehaze that upper left corner without affecting anything else. I agree that cropping it out would weaken the composition.

You're right! I'll give that a try. Thank you!
Wonderful COLOR shot. Have you been there during the Christmas season? Another great time for COLOR images!

I was there many decades ago; long before I had an interest in photography. I remember the lighting of the tree and town was spectacular
