Verizon just changed all my receiver boxes to the newer ones, plus installing a new Verizon router. My internet service is faster, however, on my TV I've been having a problem with viewing the program guide. It seems to lag at times between the time I push the advance button to when it actually advances, and it will advance to a few days out and on every channel that shows it will say: Please Wait. So, I wait, and I wait, and I wait. Sometimes it will only take 10-20 seconds before it loads with program choices, but most of the time it just stays on Please Wait. Have any of you had this problem with Verizon TV? I have all Smart TVs and it does this on all of them. The old receivers worked far better. No lag and the only time I ever saw Please Wait was when I came to the end of the two or so weeks that had programs scheduled. I figured I check with UHH first to see if someone else has had this problem and had a resolution, before I called Verizon as trying to get through to their technical help is sooooooooooooo frustrating.

I have a late 2012 IMac that works just fine. Large drive and all stuffed up with ram when they were in store upgrade able.It runs Mojave and is at the point where it is not able to take any further iOS updates. I use it for archiving my photos and paying my bills. Other that that I am not doing anything fancy or complicated with it. Once in a while it comes out of sleep mode with the message that it “ re started due to a malfunction, report or ignore” Otherwise it works just fine. I am 66 years old and am planning on retiring in 7 months. My question is: while I’m still working, Should I buy a new machine now to hopefully be my last machine and at least be upgradable for years to come? Or: Keep what I have being that I have no problems with it. My fear is it will just quit someday. I have an external terabyte drive and would hope to just clone it to a new machine. What is the opinion of you Mac users out there who have experience with long life machines. I thank you all in advance for time you take to respond.

I’ve never had this happen before so I’d appreciate any positive advice. I consummated the sale,of a camera with a fellow UHH member and mailed it Thursday of last week via USPS Priority mail. Was supposed to deliver Monday of this week although the PO doesn’t guarantee that. I keep getting messages it is running late but in transit. Its been somewhere between Memphis and Arkansas since Monday of this week. I went to the post office yesterday and was told it’s in transit and not last. Clerk said if it’s not delivered in a couple days come back and ask again. What? When is it considered lost? Yes, it’s insured and PayPal is holding the funds. This is frustrating at best.

I've heard a lot about Topaz denoise and wonder if I should take advantage of this sale. There is also a Sony code to reduce bundle by $125... I shoot Sony a7iii. Mostly travel and landscapes, some macro. I am just a hobby photographer but do print some for myself. Would like to make bigger than 8x10 prints.

I have not made the leap to Lightroom yet. Use Luminar 4, bought Neo too but have not had time to work with it (moved recently!). (I recently bought a variable ND filter to use on a trip to Iceland, but am thinking I may not really need it so kind of regret that purchase...so hesitate to make another photography purchase that I don't really need. Am on a budget and so $150 is a lot of money to me. I know this is an expensive hobby....just trying to determine how useful the bundle would be to me. I understand "need" is very subjective! Upgrades coming soon will be free to anyone who purchases the bundle, as I understand it...)
