By joining the Adobe Creative Cloud you would download the programs and install them on your computer. They all run on your computer just like your current software, the "cloud" portion is the license check, which happens roughly every month. Your old program would continue to work as normal, nothing about it communicates with the cloud.

I really see no downside. I have been on CC for a year now and just renewed for another year - the cost did not go up even a penny.

I would assume your old software would no longer get used, you would be running the latest version, Photoshop CC (2014) and newer versions as they come out.

Don, I have a couple questions for you, maybe you can answer and maybe not. I have Photoshop CS6 and received an email about how they will not be supporting it anymore and I would need to go to CC for upgrades. I spent a lot of money on this program and now if I want upgrades or support I have to have a membership to the cloud. I'm assuming that my program will continue to work on my computer for the foreseeable future but I'm not sure how to get the cloud or if I even should. Any suggestions?

My new Tamron 150-600 lens arrived!
I use this lens on a Nikon D7100 and love it. Go to the websites I have in the tag line to see what it can do. And visit Regis's photos, I think he's using a full frame camera.

Long lens for wildlife
I'm a big fan of the tamron 150-600 lens. I also use a Nikon camera. I use a long focal length for eagles in flight and have no issues or complaints.

Your Thoughts
Common core standards is a joke. If you have any kids in school, it doesn't take long to figure out that the teachers teach to the test. It's all about the funding now, not the education. I ask simple questions to the kids and the first thing they do is Google it. They are actually encouraged to use their phones in class. I am definately worried about the future generations.

car window camera mount
If you are familiar with rifle sand bags, they work great for your window. The "V" shape sits on the window glass and you can rest your lens on the top. You can pick one up at a Walmart or go to your local gun dealership and get them.

sRGB,Adobe RGB,and Pro Photo
