I am so excited to try my new Tamron 150-600 lens that arrived today for my Nikon. Heading out tomorrow to get some shots. Does anyone have experience they would like to share about this lens? Would love to see some pics as well!

I'll be looking forward to see what this does on a Nikon- what body is it mounting on? Have fun with it.

It's being used with a D5300 so I should be getting a 900mm range if my calculations are correct. I will post pics tomorrow sometime! Heading to Letchworth State Park in NY. Lots of waterfalls and wildlife!

Good luck with the new lens. I have the Sigma thats a bit heavier, but I'd still recommend a monopod or a prop of some type. I like to use a heavy pyle towel on a partially open car window. Try it. It works great, plus power elevation. Lol.

Congratulations on your new lens. I love mine .I would take a monopod and a tripod tot get used to using them with that lens.

Regis Grant Tolbert uses this lens on a Canon body with outstanding results. His posted bald eagle shots are incredible. Maybe you could PM him to start a conversation on use, hints, etc. Good luck with the new lens.
