I believe it is called export as image I would have to look again. Saving keeps it in its own proprietary format
The Gimp is free and full featured software and Luminance for HDR all free and open source.
Look up Eric Leslie on google plus, he lives up there and has hosted a google photowalk. He knows a lot of nice areas up there.

Mac or windows?? If Mac and you pulled the card without first ejecting it on the Computer it can mess it up. Macs treat the cards different than windows. One windows you can just pull the card without first ejecting.

Do the same thing you do with the Topaz plugins copy the Google Nik folder from the plugins folder in the 2014 version and paste it in the plugins folder in the 2015 versions simple.Worked on mine.

I have a Sigma 8mm I use on my Nikon and enjoy.
I have it installed on a laptop and it is great. Most of the grips from windows 8 will go away. Oh and by the way it is an older laptop and not very powerful but the OS runs great.
