All of them?

You could find out and come back and let us know. Hope it wouldn't be from a cell. (humor here)

The problem., to me, is that most of these calls are computer made calls. If someone answers, and it gets past the answering message on your phone, then it goes to someone. Or, you have to press 1 to speak to someone to take advantage of the offer. I almost never get a call from someone I would want to speak with. My answering device screens them very well, and most don't even leave a message. And only one of maybe 100 leave a message I MAY want to pursue further. I almost miss answering a real call. But almost none are ever real calls. Too bad for everyone.

And as far as people trying to make a living, let them get a less annoying profession.

What makes Tom Cruise an expert on 🦠 virus science?

He is not. But he HAS to know about the protocols required of businesses to be able to operate and remain open. And that was what he was taking action on.

I don't like flu shots because when I was in the military, I had to get an annual flu shot, and I got sick of some kind (maybe not the flu, but something that racked me up for about a week or so) EVERY YEAR. So, I found ways to avoid that. When I got out of the military, i no longer had to do it, and rarely ever got sick. My immune system seems to be working just fine on its own.

What I am worried about with this vaccine is that people will be forced to get it EVERY YEAR, if that turns out to be required. And if this induces the same for me now, I'll hate it. But I may HAVE to get it, because of the vaccine card they are issuing to everyone who gets it. And my fear is that you will HAVE to present that card to be permitted to do things you could do with no issue prior... like going to a concert, or a sporting event, or a movie. Maybe even eating in a restaurant, among many others. That would be hell.

And if it might do to me like a flu shot typically does, and I cannot get one anymore, how they can shut half of my life down just because I don't have a card for the vaccine. That, in particular is what scares me about the vaccine. I'm glad we have it, but...

So, I hope it does not come down to that.

I love it!! Snowman taking it easy and lounging in the snow, and not having to stand up and guard where he is.

Passwords are a pain, but also a necessity. I also use LastPass, and then I only have to remember the password for that. And, on my phone, I can use the fingerprint biometric scanner to log in, as well.

But before I retired, at work I had a spreadsheet that had all of my passwords. I also secured the file, requiring a password to enter the file. And I had a hint to the password in the filename that I would remember, but not one that could be easily figured out. And I never had a password problem again.

I couldn't live without either of those two ways to secure my password logs. Hope these offer ideas to those who have issues with remembering and securing their passwords.

My wife played an online post of him doing his rant. I'm not a huge fan of him, but I don't despise him. I'm not a fan of his politics, either. But, hearing his rant, he was spot on topic. He simply made note of how serious this is, and how it affects everyone on the set's ability to work. And, if I was him, I would have done the exact same thing, as there might be a chance that the whole production could be shut down, maybe permanently. So, I support him and what he did based on what he said. it was right on point, and right on the topic. No more, no less, and I respect him for that. I might not have had the courage to do that. And I support his right to do that, and him knowing that he is probably one of only a few people who would have the clout to be able to do and say what he did righteously.

Also, I would bet that everyone on the production (cast and crew) had to agree to the protocols he was objecting to being violated prior to beginning work on that production, and then did not live up to that commitment. that, in itself, and with the seriousness of this usually would, in my mind, mean automatic termination, no further questions asked.

I think that the bottom line on this is that the post office, like most businesses and even government agencies, have reduced staffing to comply with social spacing and stay at home orders due to the pandemic. It's not that they want to, it's more that they have to in order to be in compliance with the government's orders. In this case, many times, it may be state orders. I say this based on things I have seen and experienced during this pandemic. (I am keeping some of my opinions on this silent to prevent this from looking political in any way and being moved to the Attic, as this is an important topic for everyone to be aware of.)

When I see emails like that, I look at the source address it came from. Typically they will not be the right one for what they are claiming. I then look at my Amazon account to confirm no such order was placed, and my credit card I use, as well. I then delete it. It has never been anything more than spam. But I check it, just to be sure. Recommend you do the same. Also, do NOT click on any links in the email at all. Check it outside of your computer, if you can. Be safe.

But with the subscription model Adobe uses, they can dictate what level of computer and operating system you are able to use with it. If it is too old, they will say you must upgrade your resources to make it so it will be able to operate in that environment. Otherwise, you have paid a subscription price for something you are no longer approved to use. So, beware. It might have been good before, and able to save them from piracy, but then, I guess, they found too many people having issues using the new software with older computers and operating systems, and decided that you would only be able to use it with the newer stuff, and only one or two, maybe three, if you are extremely fortunate. I do not use Adobe's subscription, but this is what I have seen with friends in multiple situations, and once they have said, that is that, and if you do not meet their requirements, you are out of luck.

That may be so. I did not look it up. "Preventative" to me, then, is an unnecessary word, since a shorter and similar word already exists. But if it has existed for 300 to 350 years, in use, then people can use whatever they like, and do it properly. It still makes me cringe inside, when I hear it, that's all. But then again., I do not make it a point to point it out to people when I hear it, since, per your quote, I might be doing it improperly. So, publicly, I say whichever. Inside, I will keep my thoughts to myself, so as to not offend someone else. But if that is, indeed, correct, thank you for sharing with us, and educating me a bit.

Much like the word "preventative". The word is "preventive". It bugs me all the time when I hear people say it wrong, and don't have the education to realize the error. So, even though it is incorrect, now it appears that they are interchangeable words. as well.
