I had my first jab(UK), shot(US) of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine this morning. Very well organised by the UK National Health Service and was out within half an hour of arriving. Second injection on 7 January.
No bad reactions I take it.
What category do you fall into?

Since it's stored at -94, did they warm it up before injecting it?
I'll get mine from VA when trickles down, this gives time to see how majority react. My concern is coverage period, 3 to 12 months. And after doctor appointment and discussion last week believe will be annual (arrgh!) similar to flue shots...
I get a little confused by this "potentially annual" complaint - not just jabbing at the previous poster.
Just how big a deal is getting an annual shot?
All in all, it seems like a tiny inconvenience compared to the alternative.
Maybe we've just become too complacent and lazy to make a minor effort.

i am 80+ which places me in the UK Priority group. So far there are no nasty side effects and I urge everyone who is offered the vaccine to take up the offer.

By the way it is warmed up to room temperature immediately prior to injection

Iām 80+ too. Had my yearly physical yesterday. My Doc said maybe March for me. And the vaccine is made in my state š©.
I don't like flu shots because when I was in the military, I had to get an annual flu shot, and I got sick of some kind (maybe not the flu, but something that racked me up for about a week or so) EVERY YEAR. So, I found ways to avoid that. When I got out of the military, i no longer had to do it, and rarely ever got sick. My immune system seems to be working just fine on its own.
What I am worried about with this vaccine is that people will be forced to get it EVERY YEAR, if that turns out to be required. And if this induces the same for me now, I'll hate it. But I may HAVE to get it, because of the vaccine card they are issuing to everyone who gets it. And my fear is that you will HAVE to present that card to be permitted to do things you could do with no issue prior... like going to a concert, or a sporting event, or a movie. Maybe even eating in a restaurant, among many others. That would be hell.
And if it might do to me like a flu shot typically does, and I cannot get one anymore, how they can shut half of my life down just because I don't have a card for the vaccine. That, in particular is what scares me about the vaccine. I'm glad we have it, but...
So, I hope it does not come down to that.
