Visited this place years ago, remember a seat made of horse-shoes. Looks a nice day for your visit.

This friendly fellow visited yesterday. Seemed very interested in the tufts of grass, and weeds I was digging up from the flower border.

I am quite conversant with film, both medium format roll, and 5 x 4 sheet. I still have Tri-X 5 x 4 negatives used in my ARPS Distinction submission 1976. (Also have the Prints). Just wondered why your post was brought-out in 2021.

Pablo, I can see it if you had a job and you had to get out there and photograph subjects that you were not really interested in.........I hope you still tried to aproach the responsibility with a creative slant on it.
BTW, what is 'Blinkered-view'??

The 'Blinkered-View' that some people have of their own photographs, which have obvious basic faults (Technical, focus, exposure, composition, presentation. blown highlights, etc.,etc.) Often the pictures are accompanied by a 'Glowing' explanation of how and why the photographs were taken. When they actually show how badly they are representing good photo' skills.

I find the 'Mall' pictures interesting enough. Clear, sharp enough, and look true-to-life. To compare with some bird and flower pictures that are submitted, those authors have a 'Blinkered-view' of their abilities. As a former 'Press Photographer' , I was asked to photograph events/people /places, that I had no particular interest in, other than, ...It was my job.

Paper manufacturers sometimes provide 'Sample Packs' (To purchase). Good to try before buying a box of 50 sheets.

The only 'Bad' Nikon lens I ever had, was the 43~86 Nikkor Zoom. Probably class it as 'Poor' , because of Pin cushion at one end , and Barrel distortion at the other. Otherwise, reasonably Ok.

I got the Sigma C 150~ 600, never had any regrets about the purchase. Use it on a D610 and Crop bodies.
