I will remember this unusual shot; it has character and tells a story. Thanks for posting it. The mosquitoes in Alaska and NW Canada are big and hungry. I did not know they were also reflective.
I shook my head in agreement with most of these. Must forward it to someone!
Thanks, I have never seen a roadrunner in flight. You got a full spread! Glad you posted this one!
I am a fan of turtles. Your shot is fantastic. It is like being there. Thanks!
I like them all. #'s 3 & 4 are really special. Best way to hold on to memories.
Thank you, Huey Driver, for this post. My husband's dog tags are in a shadow box under the flag from his funeral. Agent Orange took his life.
In #2, he seems to be saying, "Are you someone I am supposed to know?" All good rabbit shots.
You were very fortunate to watch the mantis(s) hatch. Your picture is a new, educational experience for me. Thank you for the post. If you don't mind, I want to keep a copy of the first two for my insect file. For several years I wrote a wildlife column for two small newspapers. I have stopped that but I add to the files for my own enjoyment. Since I do not know your location, I am unsure from the juvenile pictures just which species of the Mantid family you have in your garden. My reference says the hatchlings usually prey on one another so that few survive.
Thanks for your post. In the South, we don't see porcupines except at the zoo. I did not even know that they climb trees.
#1 is remarkable. I have shots of ospreys catching fish but nothing that tell the story as well as this. I say both shots are worthy of praise and good frames.
The pictures are exceptional. I would like a translation of the argument taking place in #5.
The boobie is a winner. The pose, the expression...my reaction was laughter. I really like that one though all are excellent. It is 'gonna' be a good day!
That one is a keeper! I may need to use it!
The Valley of Fire was on my bucket list but I didn't make it. The natural sculpturing of rock fascinates me and I especially enjoyed #'s 2 & 3. You did a fine job even without your best camera. Thank you.
The image is impressive. And your use of it is not only a good idea but probably leaves a lasting impression on young men who receive it as a memento.
