Porcupines don't seem to attract much of a following so occasionally I'll stop and snap a few pix of one I come across. This one offered to pose while in nice morning light having breakfast in/on a Russian Olive tree. If you download and click on the image, you'll see he was keeping his eye on me.

Thanks for your post. In the South, we don't see porcupines except at the zoo. I did not even know that they climb trees.
