A lot of negativity on this post. Why does it matter what someone else shot and how they edited in post. It is their image they took with their vision for it.

The thing to remember is we are all at various levels in our photography. We do it because we enjoy it and the more we do it the more skilled we become. Like all Art it is subjective, some thrive on finding flaws and pointing them out.

How I chose to shoot and edit a scene might not be how you would do it but it is my vision and not yours. Be critical of your own work not others and your images will become better over time. Learn from your mistakes.

The other thing that grips me is the pixel peepers who look at high resolution images at 100% to purposely find minor flaws that otherwise would go unnoticed.

I like to learn what others are doing with their photography and study images I find appealing to figure out what it is I like and see if I can incorporate some of the positives into my own work.

If you have a brick and mortar store near you you should be supporting that store because you my friend are the contributing factor to camera stores closing and a lot of retail stores closing all across this country,, sorry just my opinion.

Do you go to Walmart, Target, Best Buy etc... people who use these chain stores also offer no support of local businesses ah such is progress. I use them because they save me money and that is really what this is about.

Do you believe is is about keeping Mom as Pop in business? It is all about generated revenue for the state. If they really cared they would not allow all the chain stores to sut small businesses down in the first place. Mom and Pop can't buy in bulk like them and are forced to close because they can't compete. Great system we have supported the past 30 years and now it is too late to return to it.

Or pay your taxes! It's about time something is done about tax cheats. Aside from denying your local municipalities the money they need to provide services, you cripple local businesses.

Yeah ok. Donald is that you? Calm down a little you act like he just committed murder. People ordered from out of state for years through catalogs and never paid sales tax. This is just one more way to put the screws to you. How about the state B&H are in they lose out altogether too. If I stopped in person I would pay local tax but my state would lose out would that make me a cheat too? Some of you on here need to take your med and a nap.

I believe we all develope our own style over time and others can try and duplicate it but never quite get it the same.

Part of the style is how we choose to post process and each of us has a particular style we follow over time and a vision for our images no one else has. So I think every one has a unique style. Some may be similar to each other but there are differences.

If you are consistent with a style it will become recognized as yours by your followers and fans, not by everyone though. You have to be pretty good to be that known.

I hear all models are flawed and there is no easy fix. All you get is questions in riddles and no real answers.

I am also and do not know why nor do I really give a #$@!. His posts are not generating as much discussion now partly because his ignore list is huge and because his posts are nothing more than dribble and useless questions that no longer warrent an answer.

He would do much better teaching his skills, since he 8s so knowledgeable about photography, to others. But he does not so he must not be.

It should be a good game. Minnesota, in past years have lost 4 Superbowl Games. If they had beaten Philadelphia, they most likely would have lost against the Patriots anyway. Having lost 5 Superbowls. But there are other teams that have never been to a Superbowl at all. The lowly Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, and Jacksonville Jaguars. Houston moved to Tennessee, but made a trip to the Superbowl. The newest team, the Texans, have never been to a Superbowl. At least Minnesota went to the dance 4 times. Tom Brady goes to his 8th Superbowl. He has won 5 out of 7. Not bad, I would say. Love him or hate him. Brady and Belichick want another Ring. #6.

I don't get comments like this. Those were not the same players, coaches 4 decades ago and sport history such as that has no meaning on current teams today.

I have had many people tell me my work looks like a painting. I do shoot HDR and do not try to overcook them. I strive to give the viewer the full dynamic range much like a painter would do.

The way I understand it is no release required as long as it is not used commercially such as a bill board or any form of advertising in which someone would profit by using their likeness. This does not include Art photography. Not a lawyer just my understanding.

Get more cards simple and easy as said above. All other methods cost more and take time. I have a laptop and lots of cards also. Do little transfers on trips.
