As stated above, Sony's HX series are great. If you are considering making a purchase, please look at the HX80. Virtually the same tech specs. Same size. The HX99 brings GPS to the table. A number of vendors had the HX80 on sale for $318.00 recently.

Nice picture. I was there in February several years ago. Temps were mild. 70s day; 40s night. A very beautiful environment.

What software did you use for post processing. They look more like paintings than pictures. IMHO.

This is a picture of Wall Arch along Devils Garden Trail in Arches NP. I took this picture in the Fall of 2007. During the night of August 4, 2008 this arch collapsed. Kinda sad to see it go.

Thanks for the kind comments. Balanced Rock is amazing. I have made two trips to Arches NP and have spent more time a this location than any other. Just sitting there and taking in the view doesn't grow old.
