Both are excellent. The double looks more open, the triple a bit more constrained. That's my rookie (amateur) eye.
Looks more like it's in the barn unrepaired because the person that drove it didn't survive. I'm usually an optimist, but that grouping doesn't look like a happy story. Intrigue....
uhaas2009, I have the Manfrotto quick release system in everything else. This Tamron 70-200 G2 is the odd man out with the Arca Swiss tripod mount. It's just adding a complication I'd rather avoid. See my response to Image Meister above. Is there an Manfrotto Tripod collar for the Tamron 70-200 G2?
Imagemeister, Thanks, I ordered the Arca Swiss receiver earlier today. Right now I have the Manfrotto plate on Lense Arca Swiss tripod mount. That's just unconmfortable handheld or awkward if I rotate it. Sorry for the unclear original post.
Have any of you connected the Tamron 70-200 G2 to a tripod with Manfrotto 323 Compact Rapid Connect Adapter? What are you connecting to the Arc-Swiss tripod mount? Are you using the Manfrotto QR plate? Is there a better way?
I would certainly recommend the 16-80, I own it, the 24-120 and for dx the 16-80 is a good choice. Look at Amazon now you may find a ~$200 price break but search it now. Luck.

How did 10 people look at this gorgeous shot with no comments???
Waiting to exhale. Gorgeous shot.
I am an amateur. I buy for fun not for need. I bought in this order: D750, D500, D850.Still have all three. My goal was to have a D850 and a D500 for all the reasons stated above in favor of those cameras. Plot your path to a goal and make step one your next buy. That said the D750 is way better than just a back up, so keep it no matter what you buy. I bought the D850 from Nikon as a Refurb $2,199. Shutter Count 2, Like new in all respects. Re: one previous comment, The D850 doesn't mean you have to crop, it mean you can.

So, among other Nikons, my main two cameras are the D850 and D610. I considered switching to the D750, but I
not sure it be worth the cost to change.
What do the other Hogs think? Besides those who say switch to Canon or Sony.
I had the 610. Have the 750, 500, and 850. D750 has a little better AF, and Faster shutter than the 610 and a little lighter. If you only had the 610 you might make a improvement case for the 750, but with the D850 there is no real need. I'm definitely not a pro so I buy based on "want" not "need". I would suggest that if you get rid f the 610 you do it for a bigger jump than the 750 or fill a different gap, like the D500 if you have the need or interest (take a look at the earlier post on the D500). Hope this helps.
I bought a refurbished D850 from Nikon USA for $2,199, w/Taxes $2,332 and free shipping. 2 Actuations. That's right 2. It is like new.
Really like the way you did that.
Try a Spider Holster in combination with a sling or other strap. Spider Holder an be locked when the camera is in it and it is worn on your belt.

Bought 850 refurbished from Nikon. Came with 2 actuations. It was like new except for the Refurbished box.

Can anyone tell me or help me how I can place my name on photos which I have taken?
Thanks in advance
Try this:

Easy solution for 1 photo at a time or bulk. Example attached. You can size it and place it anywhere on the photo on the fly.

I asked a question. He came back with questions for me instead of telling me what he uses and why. I guess I don't fit in here because I am a beginner (2yrs). I use Lightroom for editing which maybe isn't considered (professional editing app). I am also shopping for a new computer strictly for my photography hobby. I also use different lens (Canon, Tamron, Tokina, Sigma). So I intent to take it slow and learn as I go.
As others said it wasn't a spanking. There are a lot of beginners here. It was actually a lesson. I'm green compared to most of the guys here. Think "what would my reaction have been if I had recognized it as a lesson?" He just broke down a very simple question into its component parts. That simple question is "Why are the JPegs better?" As a beginner you should be interested in the answer. He gave you the components. Raw is raw with no changes to the data produced by the camera. The JPegs on the other hand have some edits. Further the RAW photos can always be edited to provide an improvement over the JPegs simply because there are more options available. Occasionally their are people who will take shots. He is not one of them. Hang in. There is a lot to learn. Luck!
