I don't mind lugging it. I enjoy the process of capturing images with it!!

I too luv shooting with a view camera, I have a Cambo 45 SR and a Zone VI field camera, I just don’t want to deal with film anymore. I wish I had a 4x5 digital back to adapt.

Get a nikon Df. Set it on manual. Chose your own ISO. shutter speed and aperture.

You're welcome!

Went rogue selling some of my good Sony cameras lens etc and bought a Fuji XT3 with lens a
Black Friday deal. A photographer from San Francisco wrote an extensive article about his work
with aps-c camera's and his work is outstanding. He resisted larger gear and has been very successful.
I have Full frame and bridge and small like the RX100 4. But was intrigued by the Fuji camera's.
I don't want to identify him so he won't get a lot of crazy online stuff like Ken Rockwell gets.

He’s already well known.

My motto in life. Worry about the cost when the CC bill arrives.

You are correct, I just checked my gf’s 12 regular and it has 4K 60fps. I ordered the 12 pro, the 12 max is too big for me, I carry my phone when I go running.

Just got the 12. As much as I like it, as is, should I consider upgrading to the 12 Pro? I still have a couple of days within the "return" window.

My gf is considering the same thing. I have the 11 and it is awesome but for $10 per month I couldn’t resist getting the 12 pro, Apple gave me the $800 trade in credit and I only paid $750 for the 11. What you will gain with the 12 pro is the short telephoto lens, 60 FPS option in video recording and a slightly better screen which you probably won’t notice the difference.

Thank you for the info. I wonder if the other upgrades outweigh the noise? More MP, higher number of FPS...it’s interesting to compare all 3 models.

The auto focus improvement alone is enough for the upgrade. If you understand post processing noise is not an issue.

Would never buy an iPhone and if a nikon z6 and a couple of good lenses cannot bear a video from an iPhone then Nikon should give up making cameras and lenses

Then you will never get to experience the thrill of using an IPhone, it can do more than shoot video.

Any video editing program will let you extract a single frame, you can even do it with Photoshop, just open it as a video in Photoshop and save a still frame. Make sure you shoot the video with a faster shutter speed than you usually shoot video with, 1/250 or more, forget the 180 degree shutter rule for extracting motion free stills.

Always get the latest model if you can afford it, it will motivate you to shoot more.

If you try the Sony 200-600 with the A7rIII or IV you will not want to go back to the Nikon 200-500.

If you buy the 810, you will soon wish you had bought the 850.

That is so true, I went from the 800 to 810 to 850 and there were nice upgrades with every body. Now I am onto mirrorless and enjoying the features it has to offer.
