Lemme clarify my post. I tried this on mirrors and windows, as I live in high humidity, with no luck. My equipment climatizes.

Rain-x made an anti-fog product that I never had any luck with. I'm not sure if it is still made.

The neat thing about the a6000 is there are built in tutorials and help guides in the settings.

I use the a6000. I shoot both RAW and jpeg. Sure it takes more space but sd cards are relatively cheap. I started doing that because people always wanted to see pics as soon as I dumped. I'm too nice to say wait until they are ready.

As far as post processing the Sony RAW files, Lightroom. Sure Sony has their own program out there but Lightroom is the way to go.

Gotta love the Blues. I'm from Pensacola and grew up watching them as they are based there. The shows never get old.

That was my first weapon, as well. Gary Fong has an excellent series on it. He, also, has a bunch on YouTube explaining the whole setup. That is where I got started getting into the nitty gritty. Good luck!

Being IT, I have had plenty of drives still spinning up and not reading for one reason or another (not mounting, etc,). Software extraction will sufficiently pull data off the drive. If yours has an external power supply, definitely check that if no power. If it pulls power via USB, change ports to a known good port to test. Check out the program ZAR.

I'm sorry I cut myself off short. If it does, I can typically recover via software, without a clean room teardown.
