Whenever my wife and I go somewhere together she prefers that we use her smartphone to take pictures even though the photos I take with any of my cameras are much much better. She says the she likes to be able to post them on Facebook right away. I do have the ability to pass the photos to her via wifi but it doesn't seem to matter. I love photography but my cameras are collecting dust. Does anyone have advice?

You do your thing, let her do her thing.
BTW according to my wife I take too many pictures, except when I don't and she wants me to have taken something. Bob.

As you probably guessed, the best way is to let her do her creative activity (women need to be creative, too) and stay with yours. I am in the same boat.

Let her do her own thing! If she is happy with her photos and what she can do with them let it be. You take your photos and do with them what you want to do with them. After 50 years of marriage I have learned this!

I have a question is she taking the photos or are you having to use her phone? My opinion is that she should take photos using her phone and you should use your camera. That way each of you can express your creativeness and capture subject matter that interest you.

Embrace her desire to use the phone - get her the best Camera enabled phone you can, invest in a good quality selfie stick with a bluetooth remote.... and do your own thing with your camera(s), don't ask, just do. Encourage her enthusiasm and yours.

get a new wife, break her cell phone, leave her home, trip her so she falls and skins her knees so she cant walk, find her a hunky bf so she doesnt want to go out, or just let her use her camera and u use yours.
