Im new to digital,bought an a6000 ,open box at bestbuy.First impressions,well built,lousy instructions. I took many shots in auto mode,very good results with costco
processing.l conclude the camera works but l need guide book to learn functions. Appreciate any info on a good guide book.

In recommend Gary Friedman's books on A6xxx.

Boba - Amazon lists books and guides on the Sony A6000 from: David Busch, Gary Friedman (my personal recommendation), John Sackelmore. Mark Lamar and Bill Stonehem. Take your pick. Amazon is ALWAYS the first place I consult when I am looking for books on photo gear. /Ralph

I have both books and I prefer Friedmans. I think it is best to get the book and not the download.

Friedmans is by far the best book for the a6000. Also do a search on YouTube for a6000, lots of exvellent how-tos and reviews (which explain a lot of the functions). Menus/settings can be confusing. You will want at least one extra battery. Jason Lanier has some interesting YouTube videos on the a6000. Great camera choice.
