I usually keep my image setting on my Nikon D7100 to RAW. But every now and than it is switching on me to RAW+JPEG. I don't remember change it and when I look at the menu screen of recent changes, I do not see how it is changing. Does any one any clue on what is happening. I main notice it when I view the pictures on the PC and see jpg images, which I usually (hardy ever) us.

I own Nikon D7100 and love it. It was step up from my old camera and take great picture. I do miss not having the Wi-Fi and blue-tooth capability, but over all a great camera.

I am planning to going to Mt. Mitchell in NC to view the solar eclipse in August. What type of filter(s) should I get for my Nikon D7200 camera? I am also planning to get special glasses to view the event.

I purchase a DSLR - Nikon - this year. No comparison. The iPhone 7 is nice, but if you want take an excellent picture, you need a serious camera.

I agree with "Actually they are best used together. Lightroom as a front end to first adjust the image's exposure and than transfered as a tiff from within Lightroom to PS as a back end to utilize the myriad of tools and features not designed into Lightroom".

HI, I use a mixed of both until I learn how to use my SDLR also. I purchase a SDLR this year also and it been a learn curve, but having fun do so. I sign up for Creative Live online courses for the my camera and for their beginner work shop. I also just google what is good camera setting for landscape (etc..) and experiment . Until I can master the setting, I used both. If you take a few pictures with "Auto" or "Program", then when I open the picture on the computer (sorry I am a MAC user) and check the setting it used.

HI, I purchase my Nikon in January at Best Buy. I didn't have an issue. I was able to pick it up at the store in few days, or ship it to my house.
