A women introduces her boyfriend to her parents.
The father of the women and the boyfriend then have a discussion at a Catholic Bible Study.
Father: What do you do for a living? .
Boyfriend: I am a Biblical Scholar."
Father: A Biblical Scholar, Huh ? How will you provide for my daughter? .
Boyfriend: "God will provide for us".
Father: How will you provide a nice ring for my daughter that she deserves? .
Boyfriend: God will provide for us.
Father: How will you provide a safe home for my daughter and future grandkids? .
Boyfriend: God will provide for us.
Later that night, the mother asks the father, "How was your time with our future son in law.?
The father responds: He has no plans, doesn't have a job, and he thinks I'm God."
Last summer I was in a pawn shop. They had a Nikon ( I forget the model ) and it had 3 or four lenses, bag and some other stuff. Anyway it looked to be in very good shape. And it was priced about $150.00 below market value. The sale tag said Sold As Is. So I thought there might be something wrong with it. And I walked away from it. The next day I was having second thoughts and went back to the pawn shop and it was gone. I asked the clerk what did they get for it he said they took another $50.00 off the price. I was thinking of buying it shipping it off to KEH and picking out a new lens. For as cheap as it was I think it might have been worth the gamble. I still stop in once in a while.
I have bought some Canon kit lenses from them. They are so cheap its hard to let them go. $10.00 to $15.00 dollars each. I have no idea if they work. I have a Nikon. I think I have 3 or 4 Canon kit lenses. When I get enough I will trade em in.😎

Great Post. Being new to digital photography ( 2 years ) I have asked a few questions. But first I try and find the answer on line. And if I still don't understand I will ask Ugly. It has been a great help. Looking at other folks photographs gives me lots of new ideas. Ya there is always a asshole out there. That's OK. But I would say the vast majority of folks will do there very best to give good answers. And a wide variety.

I can remember a time when I got home from Vietnam folks did not look so kindly on me or my fellow service members. I can honestly say I have never felt so let down. You would go out looking for a job and say you have spent the last 6 years in the army they would look at you like a contagious monster. Not so many flag wavers back in 1969.

The Pope is aghast !! I can't just go changing Gods word for money ! .
The man comes back the next day. Fifty million ! now, think of all the good the church could do with all that money. Your Holiness ! The Pope still unimpressed : " Look I told you. I just can't do it. I'm sorry.
The guy is back a week later: Final offer $500 million. Take it or leave it."
The next day the Pope calls all the leaders of the church together. "Boys, I have good news and bad news. The good news is we have raised $500 million dollars for Catholic Charities."
The room erupts ! Everybody is so happy !
The Pope waits for the room to settle down. Then ---And now for the bad news :
