Consummate poor taste...do not care what you were raised or what fringe belief system you now espouse.
BTW...the posing is adolescent...at best.
While I am an agnostic, I respect all legitimate religious beliefs. AS photographers, we do have a responsibility to be, at the very least decent human beings.

There is no profit in being disrespectful. I am not religious but this stuff is sacrilege.

Just another thought, have you calibrated your screen?

What would the screen have to do with a color cast on the printed sheet? I don’t think the monitor communicates with the printer.

Would you be so kind as to offer some reasons why you do not like the photos?

Simply not to my taste. I prefer the photographic efforts of others on this forum who offer attractive images.

Its not a Nikon thing. Each and every camera and lens manufacturer now has MAP pricing policies.
This started almost 10 years ago when the industry recognized the problem of huge retailers getting huge quantity discounts and selling products at hundreds of dollars below small dealers lower buying power costs. This decimated the small stores all over the country and caused thousands of them to fold because they could not compete pricewise with the big New York catalog stores and the internet discounters.
MAP pricing set a solid selling point for ALL authorized dealers and the dealer discount that is still tied to quantities ordered assures EVERYONE makes at least a slight profit. The profits get MUCH bigger depending on the quantities ordered. But high volume NYC dealers can make upwards of 35% on cameras and lenses while small mom and pop stores are given a minimum 6% profit. Which leaves very little margin if the credit card that is used to pay for that camera charges 4%.

Sounds to me like the new owner of your local camera store is well educated in double talk and obfuscation.

When taking snaps at one of those family get-together days, I shoot jpegs. I switch to raw for my more serious stuff that I want to post process and save or print. Easy enough to do and it cuts down on clutter on my disorganized hard drive.

The shutter speeds were fluctuating much too wildly for it to have been the result of accicently turning on auto ISO or bracketing.
