With all that's been recorded in jazz that album and set of players still stands the test of time.

Always loved this track. This is a classic! As much as I love Wynton, I wonder why Bill Evans isn't on the album somewhere. I don't recall if Bill and Miles had any major disagreements, do you?

I watched this video last night, and I can't disagree with his premise. We are moving to a life of renting everything and owning nothing. If you haven't seen Louis Rossman speak about this topic, he's worth a look.

One will have to plan to rent his wife, his kids, and his grave plot.

Thanks for the link, Mark! I find it much easier to listen to Trane doing ballads, the blues, or his work with Miles. He got more and more out each year past those earlier years, often irritatingly so. He does a really nice job on Stardust.

I agree with the premise in your question. Chet's vocals reflect his tragic life experience. One can really hear "the blues" in his vocals. Thanks for sharing! :-)

Thanks much, Mark! It's almost impossible to get too much Bill Evans.

He is similar to Oscar Peterson. Wonderful bassist and drum musicians. The interplay among them is outstanding.

Yep, swingin' hard! Pretty hard to lose with Jeff Hamilton and John Clayton on board. Thanks for this, Mark!

I can’t disconnect the hose from the input on my small power washer. I disconnected it from the washer thinking it might be easier to work with. The blue knob is attached to the washer and the hose threads into it. Any suggestions?

WD-40 is a good place to start, along with the pliers suggested here. If that doesn't work pick up some penetrating oil, give it a good amount of time to penetrate, and try it again. Penetrating oil might surpass WD-40 in effectiveness.

Another "non-cable" option when you're on the fly is to click the "share" button beneath a photo on the phone and email it to yourself. Having two email addresses makes it easy to do this, preferable one being a gmail address.

There is great tech advice available online, and it covers virtually every area of interest. One thing turns me off, though - well, maybe a few things.

Why does a 30+ man have to wear his hat backwards? I don't take advice from people like that. That reminds me of a Woody Allen movie. They were digging a tunnel and wearing miner's helmets with a light on front. Woody wanted to be "cool," so he had his hat on backwards, with the light shining into the eyes of the guy behind him.

"Hey, guys! What's goin on?" Is this the best way to begin a video? It must be listed in a How-To manual because it's very common.

The pic below is from a site I clicked on today. The one below that is a classic idiot. The hat probably didn't come with a manual, but "real men" don't read the manual.

One real question may be why does a guy have to wear a baseball cap at all when shooting a video indoors? Another might be what kind of useful tech information can you glean from someone who does wear one backwards...indoors?
