Can anyone tell me the best way of how to get get pictures (JPEG's) out of my wife's I-11 Cell Phone and on to my Windows PC's Hard Drive?
There's got to be a way to easily get them off and on to my HD.
I would really appreciate it.
Thanks.

You can import photos to your PC by connecting your device to your computer and using the Windows Photos app: Update to the latest version of iTunes on your PC. Importing photos to your PC requires iTunes 12.5.1 or later. Connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your PC with a USB cable.
If you don't use iTunes, another method is to copy them to Google Drive (must have the app installed on the iPhone and Google installed on PC) - and then open Google Drive on the PC and copy to HD
plug a USB cable from your phone into your PC and follow the prompts... That's it.

Most charging cords can be disconnected from the block that is plugged into the wall. You will see a USB end.
Plug the cord into the phone.
Plug the USB end into the PC. The phone is now very much like a thumb drive.
If a window does not popup, open Windows Explorer (the little icon that looks like a file folder).
Click where it says "internal storage".
Click on the icon labeled "DCIM".
You may have a set of folders or your photos may be at the first level under DCIM.
Use Ctrl-C to copy or Ctrl-X to cut the files you want of the PC.
Navigate to where you want to place the files.
Use Ctrl-V to paste them.

Is your HD your PC? Or an external HD? In your PC, you’d have Pictures folder? Create folder for said incoming pics.
With USB connection & both devices on & aware of each other, copy from phone files, & paste into new folder.
Another "non-cable" option when you're on the fly is to click the "share" button beneath a photo on the phone and email it to yourself. Having two email addresses makes it easy to do this, preferable one being a gmail address.

Get a SanDisk iExpand drive. One end is an Apple Lightning connector, and the other a USB-a connector. Use the iExpand App on the phone to back up any content to the drive. Then plug the USB end into your computer and transfer the content to your desided location. Great way to transfer large video content, doesn't take very long.
I email them to myself and then open the emails on the computer.

That's how I do it if I don't have too many to send but I don't have two email addresses. On my iPhone, I compose a message, pick my own address, attach the photo(s) and hit "send." Since my iPhone and iMac are synced, it simply shows up in my iMac's inbox. You can do this starting from your iPhone mail app and attaching the photos or from the Photos app that also allows a photo to be emailed directly from it.

If your iPhone and iMac are synced your photos should already be on your iMac in photos. At least that is the way it is with my MacBook Pro. if my MacBook and phone is not syncing I do a refresh of photos and it will sync again.
