I was using a Quantum turbo power supply with my Mittros Phottix flash. The flash cooked. I sent it in to have it repaired and I was informed that only 6 volt external power should be used with the flash. I looked in the instruction manual and scoured the internet and found no such warning. This is just to warn you about a glaring omission. MY thing is that is they were aware of a problem why didn't they put a warning in the manual.

I don't know anything about these items, but there are reviews on the sites I listed here.

Yes I saw the thing on the B&H site. ut I was asking for anyone who might have had any experience with the software.

I recently acquired 4 Norman ML400 and I need the mounting bracket light stand adapters. I am also looking for the Communications software kit. I would like the whole kit but I mostly need the software.

Thanks
John

They have me exercises to strengthen my arm make my wrist More flexible. It has helped me a lot and it made doing stuff mire enjoyable. One of my favorite lens is the tamron sp 300 f2,8. It was a joy to use niw that it's easier to handle

I was considering a Sony body so that I could use my Leica M and R lenses again. But the reviews said that they vignete with wide angle lenses. So that was a major turn off for me.

Well back in the before time both Nikon F3H (14 frames a second) And Canon F-1 High Speed (!7 frames a seconds) SLR's that had non movable semi-transparent (Pellicle) mirrors. They accepted normal lenses. So to answer your question YES, it would be quite possible to build something approaching what you what or maybe Not

there's nothing that approaches the wide angle of a 15mm lens on a FF dslr, although there will be many times as much resolution and detail.

Even with my medium format film camera with a .62 crop factor, there are no lenses that are as wide as a 15mm on a FF dslr.

I may be missing the point here but What about the 47 mm Super angulon XL that will cover 4x5 and is equivalent to a 15 mm, the 38 mm super Angulon will cover 6x9 and 6x12 and is equivalent to a 15 on those formats. I have used the 47 and 65 angulons on 4x5 and I love them. https://www.schneideroptics.com/ecommerce/CatalogSubCategoryDisplay.aspx?CID=168. and I would think that for using a Fotodiox adapter for stitching images. That the 38mm would be great at F22 it produces an image circle of 137mm that would approach 13mm equivalency.

My first studio space was the living room in my apartment. I had some old Vivitar 292 flashes, and Bought some Clamps and spotlight bulbs, and jury rigged them to flash heads. and Viola I had studio strobes with modelling lights. I had a couple cheap umbrellas, and I was off to the races. The point of all of this is that expensive is not necessary. IMO The more you shoot and read the better your photography becomes.

Dave in researching your query. I came across this site about a DIY adapter back. https://nikonrumors.com/2012/07/30/guest-post-large-format-photography-with-nikon-d800-as-a-negative-holder.aspx/ and a more detailed explanation using a canon DSLR.http://www.northlight-images.co.uk/canon-mpp-view-camera-adapter/ Both should work for any camera. I had totally forgotten about these sites now I have a new project on my to do list.

Thanks John,

Well, that's pretty interesting! I wonder if that will fit my 2 1/4X3 1/4 Graphex Crown Graphic which has a 101mm f4.5 lens on it and does use a graflok 120 back.

I hope this is a fun topic. While I am not a equipment whore but I do exhibit some whorish tendencies. So my question is what is the next camera thing that you lust for, need or just plain want. I spend most days Just looking on ebay for camera stuff. My latest addiction has been quantum flashes and battery packs. But the thing that I really want is some studio space where I can stretch and use this stuff to my leisure. I also want a Nikkor 60 f 2.8 micro and the 180 F 2.8 lenses, they would make good walk around lenses.
