I am sorry to hear of your sight issues. My father was a professional photographer all his life. He was diagnosed with Macular Degeneration that ultimately took away his profession. It was so sad to watch. Best of luck to you and yours.
I’m a big band saxophone player and decided to try a high contrast self portrait. Single speedlight/Octobox with help from Lightroom and On1.. Cool huh!!!
There it is... I was probably glazed over by E-23😳
So that's it!!!! Mystery solved... couldn't find it in the manual... Guess I can't read.. Thanks again.
What is the purpose of the fuel tank looking icon in the bottom right hand corner of an SB-910 for? Thanks in advance...
You said you shoot primarily landscapes with wide and ultra wide lenses. With that in mind I wouldn't consider a crop sensor as it will narrow your image.. Kind of like looking through the windshield of a chopped 32 ford. Since you also print fairly large, I would keep what you have and try to eliminate some of the gear you carry. It's a viscous circle with no easy answer. Rent before buying!!! My 2 cents..
Shot This Am 6/14... Very little Lightroom work.. Pretty Much straight from camera.. Comments?
Tamron or Sigma 70-200 2.8? I have an Sigma 18-35 1.8 which I really like and was all set to purchase their 70-200. I'm reading more and more about that particular Sigma lense front or back focusing, yet others are very pleased. Haven't seen very many complaints on the Tamron. Any thoughts or experience please..!!! Thanks in advance.
How do you all feel about putting a FX 70-200 lens on a crop sensor camera? Should I spend the money on a FX camera first?
Hmmmm. By Jove I think you've done it!! Thank you so much for your help...
Ahhhhh. Therein lies the whole ball of wax!!! No I don't move it, so that's the deal. Thanks so much to finally resolve my issue. That won't help me then. I want to focus on a models eyes recompose and shoot. I can't mess with multi selector. Usually aperture solves that automatically, but there are times when I use limited depth of field. Thanks again for clearing that up for me...
I just went thru it all again and don't know what I'm doing wrong... No matter how I setup the options on playback I only see the focus point dead center. I use single focus point. If I focus on something close then move the camera to a distant object and take the photo, the focus point shown is alwYs in the center no matter what I display. Guess I'm just dense.
Tried that before. Doesn't work for me?..
I think my Nikon D7200 is capable of showing me where the focus point was when the photo was taken. Anyone know about this capability and how to do it?
What is the best way to electronically send a batch of sizable jpeg's? I have a limit of 10mb in email.. Thanks in advance....
