That should serve you well. I love my D500 and it's great for birds and other wildlife. You will have a great time with it. I considered the 100-600, but i already had the first generation Tamron and wasn't pleased with it. So I was wary, plus I looked at all the reviews. When a friend loaned me his Nikkor 200-500, that made my decision easier. The Nikon lens is heavier, which might be considered a negative, but there is a reason for it. It's a better lens, more and better glass. I have been very pleased with my decision ever since. My considered advice - go with the Nikon 200-500. Billnikon is right, just look at his pictures.
Bravo. You have reason to be proud.

Thanks for link to ebook. I have seen a number of you tube videos with Mark Smith.
Yes. You might want to invest in one of his tours. I plan to when I'm there. Regardless, you'll have a great time. Enjoy and please post your photos.
Also, check out the burrowing owls onn San Marco. Wildlife in a very urban setting. It's amazing to see and it's hard to find a more adorable bird.
I buy from Amazon for cheap accessories. However, I would never purchase something as expensive as a camera from Amazon. Go with BH. You cannot go wrong and their prices are as good as Amazon advertises. You will benefit from the store that specializes in cameras. Good luck to you.
Touching is right. It's not often that you see a statement of faith in stone. Thank you for posting.
Very nice. You have a lot to look forward to in the Spring, but Forsythe is great at any time of year. One of my favorite places on earth. Thanks for sharing.
I recommend both books (and the wildlife book, if that is your thing). You could not do better. He is not only great at sharing technical information in a way that makes it very clear and usable, he's a very engaging writer so that the books are fun as well as useful. His book on Nikon focus changed the way I take photos. His exposure book is doing that for me in new ways. They are worth every penny and more.

I have the D850 and the Z6, these are two different animals (the Z7 is like the Z6 except higher resolution, but not as good in low light ISO). There are downsides to the Z systems that you should be aware off such as lens mount will only support free hanging a 2lb 13oz lens and at high burst shooting the EVF can not keep up with the latest frame (making BIF impossible) and a host of many more problems. I purchased the z6 for low light photography which it excels at. The D850 is a work horse and significantly above its competitors. I would not give up my D850 if I had to chose between the two cameras.

Thank you. You confirmed what I surmised about the impossibility for the z system to work for BIF.
Thank you for posting. Brings back memories of watching them in Nebraska when I was in college.
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing them.

What kind did you get? I'm thinking about a new one for next year.
I bought a small electric one - I have very limited walkway and driveway. This one is light and seems to be just what I need. Haven't had the chance to use it yet.

Same company that manufactured our pressure washer and we're pleased with that.
Just bought a snow thrower with my accumulated rewards. It's great if you pay your balance on time. Not good if you have to pay interest on your balance, to be sure. Now the card is good for discount at Whole Foods (which makes shopping there cheaper). With the card, you can use your Amazon phone app at Whole Foods, as well.
Brava. Your diligence really paid off. Congratuations
