I accepted Amazon's offer of an Amazon Prime Store Card a few years ago. I use it only for Amazon purchases, and I earn a rebate every time I buy something. I use those rebates when I buy from Amazon. They just sent me an email telling me that I earned $261.32 in 2018, and $69.16 so far in 2019. I can't think of any reason not to get one of these cards if you buy from Amazon.
jerryc41, I think your UHH account got hacked by Amazon. :-)

Okay, so what's your point?

That if you buy products from Amazon you will be getting a rebate. Almost like some one giving you a gift card to use to help pay for purchases.

My application for that card was turned down even though I have a high credit score and pay off my accounts every month. Why? Because one time, one of my automatic payments led to spending a few dollars over my credit limit even though that statement was fully paid off in time.
5% cash back is unbeatable!
Those bastards sent me one of those cards.....UNSOLICITED!!! They wanted only a monthly fee of $13.12 A MONTH!!! That's 157.44 a year. I gave those SOBs both barrels and sent it back. Wouldn't you know that my credit score went from 815 to 780?

Just bought a snow thrower with my accumulated rewards. It's great if you pay your balance on time. Not good if you have to pay interest on your balance, to be sure. Now the card is good for discount at Whole Foods (which makes shopping there cheaper). With the card, you can use your Amazon phone app at Whole Foods, as well.

I doubt if it was from Amazon. There are no fees on their store card.

Don't know what you got, but it wasn't the Amazon Store Card. There are no fees for that.
It was an Amazon Prime card.

There are no monthly/annual fees for the Amazon Prime card, so you are just LYING out of your arse!
Also, your credit score does NOT drop because you turned down an offer of a pre-approved card, once again you have proven that you are just LYING out of your arse!
A pre-approved credit card offer will not impact your credit score.
The initial screening that lenders use to select pre-approved individuals does not impact your credit score. In fact, your credit score will not be impacted until you decide to apply for the card.
