Sorry, I don't know why the one picture showed up so many times.
My daughter and I tease each other with our pictures. I want to tease her big now.
Easter weekend I was in Huntsville, Alabama, trying to get a shoot of some baby geese for my wife when this Heron flew right over me.
My question, which do y'all think is the better shot, and what would have made them better?
All the exif is gone since I wified the pictures to my phone then zoomed in for a screen capture.
Thank you.

Good Morning Stanlittle!
Stan, I posted a request for help with such a photo as your post. Which is really neat!
I'm in a photo class at my local Community College and have chosen this type photography as my final in 4 weeks.
However, I have to show progression towards the final each week until the final.
Could I inquire what the stats were on your camera in taking the photo and your distance from toy car to the background?
Thanks in advance.
Dave
Nikon D3200, 18-105 lens and 18-55 kit lens.
Good Morning Stanlittle! br Stan, I posted a reque... (

I don't have a lot of information to share with you on that picture. I took it with the D 3200 with the 18 true 55 millimeter kit lens. I made the shot using your arbiter priority.
Since I do not have a computer, I send my pictures to my cell phone using wifi adapter. Once the images on the cell phone, I zoom in to make it full screen, then perform a screen capture. When I do this I lose all the information from the EXIF.
I measured the distance from the deck rail this morning. It is approximately 80', the tripod was placed 3 or 4 feet behind the model car.
You will need to experiment with the settings until you obtain an acceptable dept of field and an illusion of size/perspective.
It was fun, my daughter thought I had bought a Corvette.
I wish you luck with the final.
Isn't that the truth. ..lol

And, if she says SHE is 37, don't argue with that either.
MT, I remember Dad speaking of his 39 Pontiac. I just zoomed in om another of the pictures, and I see it is the Pontiac. Mom is 86 yrs old this month. I'll let her think it is the '37.
MT,I realized the grill venting myself. I thought maybe a Olds or Buick. My mother said it is the car she learned to drive with, a 1937 Chevy. A friend that is a collector said the grill work must have been added.
I found how to add the picture.
I don't see any means of adding a picture here, but I have one of myself as a toddler, my Dad, and his '37 Chevrolet. I placed the negative on my flatbed scanner. I placed a sheet of white paper over it. The results were acceptable for my purposes.
The image was small so I made it larger. I was surprised the craters were noteworthy with the lower resolution.
I don't have a computer, so I WIFI the pictures to my Android phone. I then zoom in and do a screen shot. I guess zooming in is about the same as cropping.
I shot this with a Nikon D 3200 and a 55 - 200 mm lens. I was rather surprised to see craters after the crop.
Yes,the lens is on infinity with the aperture set at 1.7. The branch was blowing ever so slightly, but it was like shooting a moving target.
I will have to light up my wife's plants and see what this contraption can do.
I shot this early bud on our Lilac bush. I used a 50mm Minolta Prime (reversed) attached to the camera with a 2" hubless coupling I bought at the local home improvement outlet (plumbing dept).
Focusing is next to impossible with even a slight breeze, but it's fun.
