My daughter and I tease each other with our pictures. I want to tease her big now.

Easter weekend I was in Huntsville, Alabama, trying to get a shoot of some baby geese for my wife when this Heron flew right over me.

My question, which do y'all think is the better shot, and what would have made them better?

All the exif is gone since I wified the pictures to my phone then zoomed in for a screen capture.

Thank you.

I think the third one has the best/most clarity and potential. Also, the sky is bluer.
If you upload the picture again, and check [X] Store original, I, or someone else can download it and possible make some improvements.

Sorry, I don't know why the one picture showed up so many times.

Looks like you may have added it to your original post and hit "send" more than once.
Give me a few minutes.

How's this?

What camera & settings are you using?

If you can set your camera to the highest resolution, you'll get better results when editing it.

Now I made my reply vanish.

It is a d3200. I had the lens zoomed to 200mm. I think I had the dial set to sports (I think).

I have photoshop express on my phone. When I clicked on auto enhance, the birds exposure improved, but the sky turned white.

thank you for the help.

I have a D5100 so I'm a little familiar with your Nikon in that way.
Some advice...

On your LCD screen, when you first turn on the camera. Press the "I" button (mine is next to the viewfinder) and change the Qual(ity) to Fine and the Size to L(arge) This will let you use all of your 24.1 Megapixels at the highest resolution. Files will be large, perhaps over 10 megabytes.

Next, go down to the ISO and use a lower setting, like 100 or 200 unless it's an overcast day or your indoors.

If you like warmer images, change your white balance to cloudy...outdoors only.
You might want to change your Release mode to CONTINUOUS, and Metering to Spot.

Try not to edit on your mobile PSE, the overall image will be much smaller.

This is the UHH. A place where you can ask a question and get a hundred helpful answers unless it's a political question. Then you're on your own.

Thank you. I just copied your suggestions into the phones notepad so I will not forget these things.

I get plenty of political opinions on Facebook. Lol
