I bought the same card reader from B&H. Love it.I have SD and CF that I use with it and haven't had a problem. I got a card reader cheap on ebay, waste of money.

Thank you both for your reply. I am thinking about the Nikon.

I'm ordering a camera for a surprise birthday gift to my son. He's never shown much of an interest in photography until recently. He's tired of taking pics with a cell phone. I thought the Canon G12 would be a good choice. He's a big guy 6'3" big hands. He can wear it on a belt. It's the right price. I shoot Nikon, but always liked the Canon G. Any opinions??? I'd buy from B&H so he could return it.
thanks
I have always used Lexar card readers and never had a problem.
You can download and use PSE10 free before purchasing.
I have a D300 and bracket all the time. I'm sure I learned how to do it by reading the manual.
Check your camera's manual. Nikon has picture control settings- neutral, vivid etc
When I had my camera cleaned by Chrystler camera in new York it was recommended to keep a UV filter on the lens so you are cleaning a filter and not the multicoated lens.
My understanding is that using EC in manual mode on a Nikon doesn't do anything. I also shoot Nikon and use manual exposure.
With kelby you watch videos and there is a place to ask questions. Photos are not critiqued.
Better photo and Bryan Peterson's photo school have interaction with instructors, but their courses cost $200 for 4 weeks and $400 for 8 week courses.
Adobe will help you install their programs. When i went from an older version of PSE to a newer on the catalog was converted to the newer version.
When you review the files in the camera, what does the playback data info say?
Please let me know what your guru says, i'm very interested. Which Epson printer are you using?
Have you gone to elements village with your problem. there are aot of experts there who are willing to help. Will Epson's tech support help you?
I forgot to mention you have to tell the printer what paper you are using ie paper profile.
