Go into the trial version and try to move them out to document or library or somewhere so you won't loose. If they are in a folder already, then move them and save.

Adobe will help you install their programs. When i went from an older version of PSE to a newer on the catalog was converted to the newer version.

When you open Elements 10 it should give you the option or continuing the trial version or entering the registration number. Locate that on the one you bought and enter it. That should do it. Worked for me. Also go to their website and subscribe to the magazine. It comes with a great tutorial DVD that alone is worth the price.

This is exactly what you should do when using a trial version. You won't need the CD that came with your newly purchased PSE10. You just keep using the trial version and use the registration/serial numbers you got with the new boxed version.

The trial version is 'exactly' the same as the retail version except after 30 days it will stop working unless you enter that new number. You can also go to the help screen and you should see a place there to register the trial version. Just have the required reg/sn information handy and enter it.

You could do the uninstall but it's a waste of time. If the purchased version has some updated files you can always search for updates and install later. Let us know how it goes but I'm a firm believer in keeping things simple. Life is complicated enough!
