FYI from goHunt: "At one time, elk were thinly dispersed throughout Arizona from the White and Blue mountains westward along the Mogollon Rim to near the San Francisco Peaks. These native elk were eliminated before the 20th century. In 1913, 83 elk were translocated from Yellow National Park into Cabin Draw near Chevelon Creek. Two other translocations of elk followed in the 1920s. These transplants were great successes, enabling Arizona’s elk population to grow to approximately 30,000 to 35,000 post-hunt adults."
Give Freida a treat for me. # 2 is outstanding!
The old ASQC definition of Quality was "A good or service that meets the Customers needs and expectations". Both are hard to quantify because both are subjective. Both are hard to achieve.
Not recognizing the picture I saw might not be the picture I took.
Remember what Wayne Gretzky said "you miss every shot you don't take"

Portsmouth Naval Yard, UK. The Bow Sprint Museum. You can take all the pictures you want of the ships but not the Bow Sprints.
After I had my procedure I learned that I was looking at the world through a sepia filter.
I was taking a picture one day when a person close by said "I bet that camera really takes good pictures". I responded that it was the operator not the camera that took the picture. My response seemed to surprise him.
You might want to include Canyon De Chelley. It is a little out of the way on the rout you are taking but worthy of visiting.
There is little doubt that the Camera market is and will continue to change. Don't write off Cell Phone Cameras. Remember Kodak thought their business was Film not Cameras and look what happened to them. The business of Cameras is taking pictures. You can get a good picture with just about any Camera and the software that is available (and improving like the Camera) one can do almost anything they want to improve/change the picture.
