If you can quantify quantity with measure, & qualify quality with analysis.
How do you quantify quality or qualify quantity???
That's the big question???

The beancounters in health care are very busy trying to quantify quality. As my nurse recently said: "I have to finish this paperwork or I will blow the metrics"..... No, I won't say what my response was.....

Past caring. Once you've worked it out you can be sure there's a Politician waiting to tinker with it!

Right or not it’s done all the time. How many surveys have we taken that ask us:

“On a scale of 1 to 10 how would you rate our service?”

Yep! By paying for meaningless questions entered into an electronic record in which no one can find a thing.

Nothing like trying to quantify subjectivity.

The old ASQC definition of Quality was "A good or service that meets the Customers needs and expectations". Both are hard to quantify because both are subjective. Both are hard to achieve.

This might require quantum analysis if you can find someone able to do that.
