My bad. I didn't even think to mention the camera i used. It was a Fuji. But, now I'm using a Nikon 3300D. Unfortunately, I lost the original photo but I have a printed photo. I suppose I could take a photo of a photo and then post it. (?)
Sometime back, I took a photo of the moon and it turned out a beautiful yellow hue. Ever since, I have not been able to duplicate it. I do realize that dust etc in the atmosphere may have been a little bit to do with it. But, can someone please give me some settings to try? THX
This is " what I heard ": When digital phohography was in its infantcy, many companys and some newer start ups, began going with the new tech. Kodak had the opportunity to go with the flow. But, they did not believe it would ever work. So, they did not invest into the new market. Bottom line the got left behind and took a beating while progress surged ahead.
I have On1 2018.5 and have barely bagan learning and applying edits when 2019vs came out. Been on the fence getting the update. But with so much positive feedback, I'm getting it.

I have too many pots on the fire. Or as the saying goes: jack of all trades, a master of none. At 75, I stay busy. I'm learning about shooting off auto. Albeit slowllly! I'm wondering why can't I just shoot in auto? Then I'll do all the great for looks on my post processing program( On1Raw)? I have been reading posts here and most everyone seems to shoot off auto. Can I get a great photo after pp that was shot from auto mode? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.THX!

So, are you saying when I make an edit on hmmm say clouds, then I have to use the mask over the area in oder for the change to take effect?
Perhaps I'm making this harder than it really is. When masking is done I read that it has a lot to do with transparency and filters. I can watch how to videos all day and just do not understand why anyone would white or black out a photo.Bottom line, what is the purpose? Is there a simpler solution until " I get it"? I apologize for having to drag y'all down to such low depth of my lack of knowledge.

I like the 1st one. It shows actual size and tells something about the scene. The other one leaves me wondering. Is it a small clump of flowers or is it a mass? Of course the 1st one shows the answer. As far as focus, unless it is extreemly bad and very noticeable, it's ok to me. But, do YOU like it?
This is my opinion but it is not typical for everyone who has used stock agencies. I hope you don't find pitfalls as I did and you can find it rewarding. After many many attempts, I have given up on listing any of my photos. It's just not woth the time nor effort ( for me ). Esp since the reward is so little. Just as the previous post said. They are picky. You stand the risk of them publishing your items w/o your payment and possibly your knowledge. Yeah, I'm sure there are legit agencies but it will take a lot of time to build up to the point where you can get top or at least close to top money for your shots. Bottomline, ( 4 me ) at 75 I have bigger fish to fry. Good luck to you if you decide to embark on this endeavour.

I was listening in on a partial conversation with two photographers. They were talking about stacking but I didn't get enough info to know what they were yak'n about. Any clues? Does it have something to do with layers?
TY srt and tde. You're right! I do over complicate matters. I enjoy shooting in auto. Mostly because I don't want to take the time to change stuff before my subject decides to move on. Landscape and sunsets are a diff matter as they are slow movers. Thanks again!
