Well, I'm 86 and still use my D500 and D7200 almost all of my photos. I do have a Lumix F200 bridge camera, but even tho it's lighter and has good zoom, it still can't do the job the big guys do. I'll just keep lugging until I can't anymore.

Hi,
Another youngster here I see. My first car was in 1958.
Have a great week.

Try Fastone and/or Irfanview. Both allow you to do simple edits with lighting, contrast and hue and are free to download for any windows computer.

Hi friends, I have Nikons d7200 and d500 and my favorite walk around lens is the Nikkor 18-200mm. Recently it began slipping. I now use a band on it, but I just don't feel the photos are as sharp arls they once were. I know with a long zoom sharpness is often compromised, and I have several other lenses that do an excellent job. But as an almost 72 yr old woman, although spry enough, sometimes I just want to grab one lens for a long hike. I'm looking between Nikkor, Tamron, and Sigma. I want new, as I don't want to deal with slipping again any time soon. I'm looking at 18mm-300mm, or even 400mm is quality isn't terribly compromised. And suggestions from personal experience? Thank you!!

Hi, I also have both the D7200 and D500 and alternate between them both depending on what I am shooting. My walk around lens is the Tamron 18-400 zoom. I bought it used from one of the Hogs here on the forum. It has served me well and I can highly recommend it.
Best,
Dave, (86 year old retired Naval Aviator)

You can just print to pdf using
"cntrl P" and giving the image a file name in Windows 10/11.

My CPR instructor had a saying, "You can't make them more dead". Totally agree, if the choice is "dead" or not, CPR makes sense.

I made one using vinly covered wire like the type used in dog leashes. A couple of clamps and clips from the hardware store and it's done. I used it when traveling to Europe a few years back. It sits in parallel to the regular shoulder strap. I ditched the Nikon advertising strap to avoid showing the world the value of my camera. I agree with the comment about the danger of strangulation without a break away ability but to me the risk was worth it.

Nostalgia is the answer for many of us spectators. As an old Naval Aviator, I used to fly many of the old war birds. I love to see them in the air again and hear the round engines sing.

Best to you Ernesto!
I retired in 1992 and am so busy now I can't imagine having time to work a full time job.

Don't let the assholes win!
Why would people make rude comments about someone else's work? Makes no damned sense to me.
If someone doesn't like something, simply don't view it.
Like the jerks who want to prohibit certain tv or radio shows because they disagree with the content. Just don't watch.

Great shots. It looks a lot like my 1960 Olds 98 convertible that I had years ago.
