Because of the negative comments I have been getting, this is doubtless my final submission to this forum. For any newbies, all of my submissions were done using PlusX film during the time span from 1976 to 1980.

Sorry to see you go, Jim. I have enjoyed all of your posts. I am curious about one thing though. Have all the people posting negative comments actually posted any of the photos they took, so they could show us their talents too? It’s a shame that a few butt hurt losers can ruin it for the rest of us who like your work. Take care!

Negative comments? I have read nothing but appreciative remarks. This section of UHH was established specifically for photos of this nature. Anyone who complains can simply remove it from their topic list.

Some people just can't let things be.

Jim, please don't let the Adam Henrys drive you away. I have long appreciated your artistic ability with all of your submissions. More power to you.

Just as an additional thought, since I grew up in the 50's and 60's I used a lot of Plus X (and Tri X) film and well know the challenges of using both which just increases my appreciation of your ability. (Worked at a camera store while in High School and processed al my own film and really know those challenges. Please keep posting.

Jim,
I was very disappointed to see the text accompanying this post, but the photography is among your best work yet. Stunningly beautiful young lady, crystal clear (even downloadable) great lighting and shadow details, highlights in her hair, absolutely awesome! To leave the remaining treasures hidden in storage for eternity would be a crime.

Please ignore the trolls and continue posting your quality work. These photos were once-in-a-lifetime opportunities for you and your camera, and they are all classically beautiful. PLEASE continue to share!
Thank you!
Rick

Even when one of my multi-media presentations receives a standing ovation, there are outspoken critics. I used to listen to them and become depressed.

I still do but quicker get over the depression and move on. Maybe one day, I can easier shake them off. Each of the critics has a personal agenda going on. Don't let their personal battles become yours.

Thanks for your photos. BTW: What is your favorite lighting? Time of day?

Dear Jim,
I feel privileged to have enjoyed seeing your memories and I'm really sad that the critics have brought you to this situation.
Whatever you decide, I just want to say "thank you".

Well this sucks, a real photographer that post art gets run off. Sadly there's a lot of toxicity here but don't let the bastards win. If you must go thank you for your post and I wish you the best.

I agree with CWP, "Sorry to see you go, Jim. I have enjoyed all of your posts." I too lived in the film world, in a nude body restrictive era. In the early 1950s would peek at the Nude Living Black and White magazine.
