I have been looking in vain for an Anti-theft camera strap. PacSafe used to make one but no longer does. Does anyone know of any other company that makes them?

Who would steal an interchangeable lens camera in 2023? A fool? A desperate fool?

Fear is only as deep as the mind allows.

I have one of these and really like it. It is supposed to be cut-proof.

Going for something that do not break and putting it around the neck can be dangerous.
Straps going around the neck should always break at a certain force to prevent strangulation in an accidental entanglement.

Maybe a wire coil strapped to your belt or shoulder like the one used by police on their guns is a better choice.
Partner it with a hanging clip-chest rig instead of a neck strap and it should work out fine.

Better yet, be a greyman. Refrain from calling attention to yourself, always be attentive of your surroundings, do not go where it is sketchy and always be in a group.

This is a great sling strap and I use it a lot. Of course, I really prefer a sling strap anyway and never use a standard camera strap. One of the beautiful things about this sling version is the adjustable length strap end and buckle to bring it tight to your body or looser for shooting. Adjusting is fast and smooth.

Or somebody who knows that the cameras and lenses are still worth hundreds or even thousands of $$ (or ££).

If someone steals your DSLR, be thankful. You are now free to go mirrorless.

While this is not a neck strap, it is a handy helper. I use a wrist strap. I find it better than a camera swinging around my neck bumping into things.

Paul, can you convince my wife to buy me a Canon R3 for my birthday?

There are people that would steal a Polaroid or an iPhone 5. Thieves are thieves.
