To be honest pictures are not too demanding. Green screen for video is where you need to go the extra mile.

That camera started it all for me. Recently used it as a 2nd camera on a trip to shed aquarium.
I began to think the camera was obsolete. Then I looked at some of the pictures and they have a nice look to them. The camera forces you to think about what you are doing.

Recomend a battery grip.

I have had a 5dmkii and t2i as a backup. Love them both.

I have not used magic lantern. Is this still a thing for the mkii?

But with that equiptment you can't afford to not know how to do time lapse

Time lapse is a great skill. A 5 minuets photoshop tutorial and a lot of fine tuning.
A moving sky or a sunset is a can't loose time lapse. $30 intervalometer with wireless and perhaps an ND filter.
You see them in just about every movie or documentary and they are just plain cool.

Do some short ones say 150 pictures to get the hang of it and if you like it get a secondary camera for time lapse so you don't burn up your main rig.
However, a well done time lapse with your camera might be the best digital art you ever make.

I have a t2i and love it. Paid $200 for the body 2 years ago and ripped off tens of thousands of pictures. Built in flash came in handy a few times, even though I don't want to admit it.

I learned on the t1i. Still love it even though the low light performance is dated and sometimes it refuses to take a picture.

Carefull not to confuse the ti series with the non I cameras.

That seems like a mountian of cash for learning material. Although less than a semester of college.

I've never had a new version delete an old version. CS6 dates from 2012, and the camera is from 2014. Have you gotten updates for PS? My CS6 can read raw files from Sony A6000 and Nikon D750. I don't know if phone support will do you any good with CS6. I wouldn't get another copy of the program. Try to get help from Adobe first.

There are lots of reasonably-priced software alternatives to PS.

Nice image

Crisp
Good colors

But what makes it special is that it resembles a butterfly or a manta ray.
It has a bit of wonder to it.

Sometimes photography misses the wonder and becomes a little prosaic.

Nice one.

More important than the size is the speed.
Check the record speed (not always obvious)
If it is too slow video will stop recording after a few seconds.

When you upload take the card out.
Otherwise gopro is user friendly.

I have several 32gb cards. They seem to be the best value. They fill up fast. I would start there as a fast 32gb micro SD card can always be repurposed and not a huge deal if it gets lost stolen or broken. A little redundancy in storage never hurts.
