Many thanks. I have a Dell Ultra Sharp monitor which I calibrate regularly. However, I do not match paper to ICC Profile. Does it make much of a difference? Also what about no0n-Canon inks for the Pro-100?

I want to make a copy of an 8x10 B&W photo. Which would be better--scan it or take a picture of it?
The next question is what are the best settings for my Canon Pro-100 printer to print this photo? It's been a long time since I have worked in B&W and I confess that I don't remember anything.

Don't think I replied in correct place. To repeat, I would like to buy the tripod. I live in New Bern. If you are close enough I can come pick it up.

I was the editor of MotorBoating & Sailing magazine in the 80's. The magazine had a large collection of Rosenfeld photos dating back decades. We donated them to the Rosenfeld collection. To answer your question, as best I remember all of the pictures were dated and numbered. Stanley Rosenfeld who was a frequent visitor to the office and a friend continued the I.D. system.
I cannot attest to the originality of your photograph. I suggest you seek out the curator of the photography collection at Mystic Seaport. Here is the URL which will get you the contact form:https://research.mysticseaport.org/contact/
Good Luck

Thank you all who responded with helpful suggestions. It turned out that multiple Speedlights with WB flash overcome the fluorescent ceiling lights. Interestingly, I had enough strobe power to turn off the lights and shoot in the dark. It didn't change the hue.

I was surprised by jcboy3's snarky post. I thought purpose of this site was to share and learn from others. My specialty has been marine. I have had many interior spreads and covers of national magazines. I have shot for national campaigns of Buick, Chrysler, Cadillac, GMAC and Kelly Services to mention a few. I wonder what jcboiy's resume reads like.

I have an assignment to shoot 5 different spaces in a surgeon's clinic. The camera is a Nikon D7100. All of the spaces have overhead fluorescent lighting. Except for the OR the walls are painted red, medium blue or a medium green darker than hospital green. Some of the spaces will be populated with models. I have a choice of lighting setups. Two Nikon Speedlights-one on the camera one off. Photofloods on tripods. Augmented with strobes? Or a tripod mounted duel light halogen construction light.
Am I correct to set the white balance on a gray card with each lighting setup? What about filters? Or should I correct off-color in the post? Shoot raw? Save as Tiffs? Final selects will be printed in a very high quality brochure. This could be repeat business so I want to give the client awesome shots. As background info, I have relativel experience with interior architectural shots. Most of my work is boating or landscapes.
All advice is welcome.

Very helpful. Thank you. But in defense of the old lens I have shot magazine covers with it. Looks like I will be buying the new one, though. The 300 sounds great but I never need that legth.

Don't know about the newer but the older, yes: 3.5-5.6. What is the newer? And is the lens architecture different?
Thanks for getting back

I purchased the old 24-120 when it first came out. Don't remember the year but it was about the same time as the D100. It has been a great go-to lens. But I recently bought a D7100 and I wonder if the newer lens would be more compatible with the D7100. BTW I am still learning the multi-capabilities of the 7100 and haven't used it enough to decide if the various "auto" setting are accurate enough.
