Typically 13x19 prints will do it. But I've been using a FF Canon 6D for years. Getting old sucks.

Anyone with Olympus OM-D E-5 Mark II experience to share? Compared to Sony, Olympus seems to have their act together when it comes to glass choices. Sensor size is a concern when enlarging cropped images but the five-axis IS system and the 40mp high res option is attractive. Olympus OM-D E-1 Mark II rumors?

Looking at "new" Sony 7aRII that comes with a Cosina Zoom FD ED ASPHERICAL 70-210mm F/4 and a Cosina FD 75-300mm F/4.5-5.6 MC ASPHERICAL.

Any experience with this manufacturer and specifically with these two lenses?

Readying to dive in with a Sony a7RII but have questions about using Canon lenses, mostly L glass, adapted to fit. Any horror stories? Any ideal adapter suggested to make best use of Canon glass with the Sony?.

For those Canoneers here who've entered (or are thinking about entering) the world of Sony Alpha 7R II (or any Sony a7), have you researched or personally tested any of the cameras using Canon lenses, specifically L lenses? Understand they can be used with an adapter but I'd hate to sell off all my L lenses without first understanding what to expect marrying them with a Sony.

Probably a WHOLE LOT better, richosob, than working two/three jobs to stay alive at today's minimum wage.

travelwp . . . some generally terrific pix of some genuinely sad characters. Looks like Times Square hasn't matured very much from the seedier days of X-rateds and panhandlers. Your B&W works takes us back to WeeGee.

Following years of trip after trip lugging 30-35 lbs of cameras, lenses and other assorted necessities up the mountains of Peru, the Pyramids of Egypt or the jungles of Guatemala, I've decided to bite the bullet and make the switch from full-frame DSLR to full-frame mirrorless. (Figure if I wrote it, it must be happening) Question is: What's the best means to liquidate my Canon 6D, battery grip, L lenses, etc. etc. etc. Any suggestions?

After schlepping my Canon 6D + battery grip, EF 24-70mm f/2.8L, EF 70-200 f/2.8L and other assorted lenses, extra batteries, etc. etc. in a backpack throughout a recent tour of the Peruvian Andes (w/altitudes up to 14,500ft), I'm wondering if it's time for a change, time for an update, and time to lighten my load. Sony's a7 (or a7R, a7S or a7II) and its system seems like a likely candidate to consider although I'm not alone in wondering if Canon will EVER come out with a mirrorless FF and let me keep all my cherished Canon glass without ditching it all and starting over again. Guess I just need to bounce this out there and hear what you all have to say.

Heading to Peru (and Machu Picchu) tomorrow, taking my 6D plus a lens selection. As back-up, I'm also taking my Sony NEX-7 and a lens selection. Should be interesting to compare results both in photo results and damage to my body after lugging everything with me.

Might seem like overkill, but I keep three SETS of 2TB hard drives: one hard drive (and a second as back-up) for all my photos; a second (and back up) for all my music (about 8,500 albums); and a third (yeah, with yet another to back it up) to secure the entire contents of my computer in case of a crash or bug invasion. Btw, no greater expert than a Western Digital sales guy in a phone conversation strongly urged me to back up all my external hard drives. He said, in his words, "because ALL hard drives will eventually FAIL." Makes you feel secure, don't it? Oh, and I called him because my week-old external hard drive, containing the entire music catalogue of the local library, had FAILED. To that he replied 'Oh, you DO have a back-up, right?" Sheeeeeeesh. There are NO photos or songs stored on my laptop. But I would also suggest using the CLOUD, even CDs, and any other back ups for your back ups as well.

Not big into touch screens myself; just something else to smudge and have to wipe down over and over and over. Enough already with cleaning iPhone and iPad. No, not another touch screen. What is handy though is an articulating screen. Not the kind I have on my NEX-7, which does little, but a full-out flip-out allowing for pix taken in forbidden places (think ceiling art at Sistene Chapel where cameras are not allowed).

Oh, I get it now . . . if anyone doesn't agree with your horse shit racist, right-wing, ridiculous rants, you guys gang up and step on them. Guess we all should feel REAL comfortable with how you'll reply on the photography issue side of this site, too. Really, you can't find other places, other forums, other readers to put up with your crap instead of posting here we many of us are simply interested in improving our skills and understanding of photography. Wow.
