I believe Canon discontinued all of their DSLR but the T8i is a relatively new model I think they should still service it. I think in general they would continue service the camera for 10 years after dicontinuation.

Boy I sure hope so! I am working out my password and will soon be able to talk to Canon Service directly. thanks for the Hope!

I need some service for my Canon Rebel T8i EOS 850D so I went to the Canon Service site and no T8i options listed like it never existed. So I guess that I am out of luck for anything on the latest edition of the Rebel series? I never have seen anything on the ‘net about its lifespan ending. I am very disappointed in It being dropped….I loved this camera for my needs.

Next I went to B&H and they listed it as discontinued! Bummer, was it such a bad seller that it is gone already? Probably could scare up some refurbished units here and there…but that does not appeal to me much….one note, I could not sign into my Canon Account as I am having password problems at the moment, will there be more help available on my account when I get full in?

I guess I am forced into looking at replacing my camera body, I think the next option for my budget will be the 90D and use my EF-70-300 IS II USM lens on it. Any comments or ideas from you more knowledgeable persons here?
Thanks all. Walt

I almost always ask, but am getting old now and sometimes I forget to message the photographer right away then I have to hunt up who took it and am not always successful. My purpose is to only study them or admire them and learn about how to be a better photographer. Then I delete most of them. I share them many times with a very old lady (90’s+) who is shut in and disabled with memory losses. She has a viewer on her table that the pictures will pop up on and they are the highlight of her day! They really give her happiness and a touch of excitement….hope that this sets well with ever.

Interesting. I wonder what "...follow the instructions in this article to keep your images and edits." really means.
If the two editors I use went away at lunch time I wouldn't loose anything. All my pictures and edit results are on my hard drive, safe and sound. I wouldn't "loose" anything.

Lose?

When you see the pictures on Sony’s program can you highlight all of them then just copy them? Control C buttons. Then you should be able to paste them where ever you want…no?

I have been on several juries but I was routinely rejected as a 20 year old. It made me really try to get selected, I tried a suit, blue jeans, but when I walked in in my motorcycle leather jacket, boots, gloves, helmet it was a go! Always puzzled me. Lol.

The best excuse to get out of jury duty I ever heard as when the judge asked a lady if she had prior knowledge of the defendant in a drunk driving charge, she very angrily responded, “All I know is that he is a drunken alcoholic no good bum!” “ Your excused ma’am!

Our daughter Tracy was about 4 and in church one Sunday our very long winded Pastor was praying an interminable closing prayer and as he paused to take another breath, her ”AMEN!” Rang out loud and clear! The pastor choked as the congregation exploded in laughter and after regaining his voice said “well I guess we are really done now!”

I was amazed at how well it works now. I was a little skeptical at first, but every time I reached for the dimmer it was right there with me. The really impressive thing is how good it is at differentiating between headlights and other light sources.

I have the auto dimming headlights in our new Mazda CX5 and never tried them at first, once I did they are fantastic! I have not had any upset drivers flashing back at me ever and in Oregon small town living we go from city lights to darkness in the country all the time. They are a new safety feature to help detect deer etc. crossing the road quicker or other hazards. I use it all the time now .

Well if certain factions have their way we will soon be back using horse and bobtails with our sleigh bells ringing and we will know for sure what they meant.

Most Mustangs have to pull the dash out to change the leaky heater core and probably the fan motor too! My 69 Mustang was leaking when I sold it but I told my friend all about it beforehand and reduced the price to compensate. A week later his wife called and cursed me out for selling them a damaged car and wanted their money back! I laughed and told her go talk to her husband again he knew all about it at the time of sale. People are weird and selfish at times…
