Any ideas?

Jerry, Not to your point, but I have found my V600 scanner to be temperamental. I've had the computer report it doesn't connect. I have to restart the V600 multiple times to get the two to "talk".[/quote]

I too have had my V600 scanner act like that and I have to reboot (turn off and on ) several times for it to talk to my laptop. I can get it to work but yes this might be a V600 issue. I use Vuescan for software.

Wouldn't low capacity flash drives be more convenient? Everybody has USB ports if they own a computer but not everybody has the means of reading an SD card.

SD card readers are being eliminated from PC and Mac laptops. In fact Mac laptops now do NOT have
USB ports. Mac sell the adapter for USB ports to a lightening C port.

In my Windows 11 system right click on image, then copy and paste works every time, have never had a problem.

Are you using 11Pro or 11Home?? I use ClipMate and enjoy picking from a stored list of copy saves anytime I want days or weeks ago saves. I do not want to switch to 11 for that reason alone.

The answer lies in our education system!

JUST WRONG! You have to blame the producers of kids programs and streaming channels. Schools have NOTHING to do with making money for the channels.

Most grants come with dollar match requirements. In many cases it's dollar to dollar so the school district/jurisdiction would be liable to match funds for each bus and/or 100% of uncovered equipment and building/grid improvements. I oversaw several grants and it is a PIA to ask for more money after a program starts.

BTW... diesel buses rarely run out of fuel unless there is human error. Imagine a bus full of kids having an electrical failure in a freak snowstorm, being stranded with no heat. Ugh. Or stuck in high heat situation.

To date, there is nothing cheaper than fossil fuel to mechanize the world. Fact.

We finally are getting AC in our buses, still trying to bond issues to get AC in the remainder of school building. My brother bought a EV a year ago and has run low on charge at times. EV have to use more energy to heat in the winter and as electrical understandings of batteries will tell you, you CAN NOT get a full charge in the winter time temperatures. A regular car battery is only 50% efficient at below freezing on a regular winter day. My brother is off to see his son in Seattle WA, drove into Canada to get their because they have more charging stations up . The public has some much to relearn. Thanks for talking, Larry

Does anyone remember the 'Cash for Clunkers'? If you do then you may also remember the 'Corn for Fuel' taxpayer-supported program. And...let's never forget the great solar panel taxpayer funding of Solyndra that went belly-up shortly after getting $570,000,000 in a taxpayer loan which was never repaid (ever wonder where all that money went?).

Your mention of "cash for clunkers" and two weeks ago the news that somewhere in California they were going to start a recycling plant for solar panels. We are just now getting people to install solar panels with little fore thought of hail damage for us in the mid west, the loss of energy from snow in the winter that covers the panels and try to get someone to go up and clean those panels from dirt from the air. I have to park on the street so I don't see my family putting in a charging station for the public to block and hook their own car to. Our society is not that kind right now for all this to work right now. GOOD food for thought today!

Yes admin sent me a note..........today i downloaded legacy photo from microsoft, works like the old app, it also imports from sd card with no problems........the replacement did not work.......thanks again for all of your help/advice.......look only 1 cap.......... :) take care........

During my last update to windows (10) my laptop will not work with win11, it upgraded to Photos. Yes it does not act like the Legacy photo. I do not like it's operational format so I also downloaded back to Legacy Photos. When I connect my Iphone 14pro to load my photos it starts win11 photos to collect the photos. It does NOT want to find my newest photos and has me go through all kinds of steps to find the new photos. Not a fan of win11 photos. Just keep to the topic, he has his reasons for using CAPs. I try to work within this forum.

Is it taking a real video or is it using LIVE mode which is actually a very short video clip. When you view the image/video in your camera roll does it say LIVE in upper left hand corner of the image? If this is the case, make sure LIVE button is not on before you take the photo. Tap the button and it will put a slash through it. Let me know if this is the case.

Thanks Fstop12 and Jimmy T for responding!!! I have turned off LIVE and when using the selfie stick, the remote button on the Bluetooth system still selects MOV on the Iphone 14Pro. I use MLV to take a snapshot of the Mov as it is paused on the laptop screen. MVL has it's on problems as the screen snapshot is saved as Jpeg but rotated upside down.
I can fix these problems to get a useful photo BUT just a hassle. The stick is useful but the remote WIFI is crap. I got what I paid for. Again thanks

I have to take selfies when I deliver Flag certificates to house holds. When using the selfie stick and click on the remote button, my phone takes a video rather than a photo. While I can take a snapshot from the video to get my photo shot, I am looking for help to know why this is happening. Thank you Larry

While my laptop has 32 megs of ram and 1tb SSD and it is a core5 intel. As I have looked at AI, my laptop needs an upgrade and a video card to us the AI's that are coming from all the software companies. I even got a three fan cooling pad for the laptop but the noise it made is just to loud, no need for hearing aids with this cooling pad.

I wonder if it would ever be possible for the UH site to add whatever software it takes to be able to view 360 degree pictures on site as facebook has. I have no idea what it would require but find I enjoy the ability to look around a picture at different angles and think it would be a really nice addition to the site.

Would that be possible with a tri pod and set camera to movie??? Keep it simple!

For the past two days I have been getting a NEW section in light grey color after the Ugly Hedgehog- Photography Forum opening logo. If I click the close box it asks me for a selection of 4 boxes to click on. It then says thanks for selecting a box but still stays on the screen. HOW is Google taking over our forum?? JUST asking!

Or perhaps he is trying things out in the background.

At any rate, he has suggestions and it is not our place to push him one way or another.

This is what frustrates me the most when I follow a posting on any forum. The OP does not follow up with a response of what worked or NOT. Most of us just want to know.
