Is there a hard-reset other than the two green button salute ?
Thanks for all the replies. I have read and tried different the different settings - but nothing seems to change in the camera display. I am sure it is some setting. I did try a factory reset by holding the two-green dot buttons - even that did not help.
Folks - I have owned Nikon D7100 camera for a few years and for the most part it has sat in a bag. I have faced this issue for a while now - the playback after each picture is taken is shown in a very small portion of the screen. It is actually 1/9th of the screen. I have tried different settings including a factory reset but I am unable to figure out how to make the playback full screen. I would greatly appreciate if someone can assist me here.
Well, it makes the camera + lens about $500 more expensive if I go that route. $1900 + $1000. I am hoping to get the "my kit" for $2400
Hello all. Now I have this itch to buy the D750 and hence the following question. The 24-120 FX lens is actually ore expensive than the 28-300 FX lens. However, all retailers (Adoraa, B & H etc) have the D750 kit which includes the 24-120 lens for $2300. My question is whether they will switch the 24-120 lens to the 28-300 lens for the same price ? I will have more use out of the 28-300 lens.
P.S I already own D7100 with the not so useful 18-55 lens and 18-200 DX lens, 50mm 1.8 and 35 mm 1.8 lens.
It had not been available anywhere for months. I happened to find one in bestbuy.com and bought it. I had previoulsy ordered from nikonusa.com - which is also fulfilled and arrived today. So I end up with two. I will sell it on ebay or return it to nikonusa.com
I had been trying to get this camera since July. It is sold out everywhere. Hence I ordered in Amazon in July, and in Nikonusa.com a couple of weeks back. I just happened to be lucky to get it from bestbuy.com.
I received my P900 bought from best buy. I had also placed an order from nikonusa.com and believe it or not - that has shipped and is coming my way. I will cancel my amazon order.
I was wondering if anyone needs a p900. I will ship the box that I will receive next week from nikonusa to anyone interested to buy for whatever I paid and whatever it costs me to ship.
Please pm me. Else I will put it on ebay.
Thanks.
A million thanks to member - BDRFlorida.
He asked me to check in bestbuy.com. I kept trying all day yesterday and suddenly out of nowhere "Add to Cart" appeared. I have never ordered something in such speed. In about 45 seconds - I had placed an order and it is being shipped today.
Amazing - I have an order with Amazon on 7/21 - seems to gone nowhere.
Another order with nikonusa.com - no news.
Once I have the camera and am satisfied that everything works - I will cancel other orders. Looks like I will have this sometime this week.
Thanks again BDRFlorida.
Awesome deal.
Buydig has the Refurbished Nikon D3300 24.2MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera with AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II Lens for a low $329.00 Free Shipping after Coupon Code: "RULEOF3RDS" (Exp Soon). Tax in NJ. This bundle sells for at least $499 brand new elsewhere.
Thanks for the reply. I checked in Samsclub.com and it does not show up. I did check again in nikonusa and it allowed me to order (although backordered). This is better than before as there no "Add to Cart" for awhile. So I placed another order in nikonusa.com. Whoever ships it first - I will keep. If both arrive - I can always sell on ebay for a small profit.
I am keeping my fingers crossed. I still have 6 weeks for until the cruise.

Where and when did you order the p900. I have almost given up hope of even laying my hands on it. I ordered from Amazon on 7/21 and no news from them yet. In fact they have stopped selling in Amazon. I really wanted it before I embark on a cruise during thanksgiving. I am not that optimistic anymore.
I had posted earlier as to drainage in the battery while the camera is off. Lots of people had commented and I appreciate every one of them. Here is an update.
I had vivitar branded batteries in them. I bought vivitar thinking they atleast have a recognized name on them as compared to several unnamed batteries. They turned out to be the real problem with fast drainage even when camera was not in use. I recently purchased some other unnamed brand from ebay. They are excellent. I have sparingly used the camera over the last 10 days and it still shows 100%. They are 1600 mah power. I will post the ebay url and they are only $19 for two. Great deal. I am buying two more and have already thrown the vivitar's.

I meant the Sony A6000 (not A600).
