I had posted earlier as to drainage in the battery while the camera is off. Lots of people had commented and I appreciate every one of them. Here is an update.

I had vivitar branded batteries in them. They are nothing more than "crap". I recently purchased some other unnamed brand from ebay. They are simply excellent. I have sparingly used the camera over the last 10 days and it still shows 100%. They are 1600 mah power. I will post the ebay url and they are only $19 for two. Great deal.

I meant the Sony A6000 (not A600).

If you have Airplane mode set to "off" switch to "On." And then check for canera off drain. I some time ago posted a graph of camera off discharge fir the Sony and the Promaster. I would also encourage you to read the Wikipedia article on Li ion batteries. The mAh of any battery is dependent on the anode:cathode:electrolyte mass and you can only stuff so much into a battery case the fits the canera. More electrical mass, less case mass, so thinner case and more likelihood of leakage inside the canera - ugh.
