I seldom use mine for pictures because I don't like the format - how I have to hold it, keeping my fingers away from the lens, zooming, activating the shutter, etc. When I do use it, I'm always impressed by the results. All the pictures I take with it go directly online to Google Photos.
At 84, and having some neuropathy, I have difficulty holding the phone in camera position while trying to keep my fingers from blocking the lens and then fire the shutter without movement. And without dropping the darn thing!
Here is my solution, using the phone clamp from an Apple Gorrilla Pod Pro and a Barska pistol grip from B&H. The two parts screw together easily and provide a strong solid grip that is easy to maneuver. Not unreasonably bulky. Phone is iPhone 7+ in leather case.
