Looking for REVIEWS for this new Movie, was it a good Family movie?
Did Harrison Ford play a strong role in the Movie?
Was is a "10" rated Movie?

I use kids-in-mind.com for their reviews, cost $1/month. They rated it 1.5.1 (sex and nudity, violence and gore, language). Scale is 1 to 10.

Related issue. I am also considering a RAID. Do any of you routinely swap out a drive and put it in a remote location? I am considering doing a RAID and periodically (monthly?) putting a copy in our safe deposit box or even just in a metal box in my car.

Yes.I have used a CRU ToughTech Duo for sometime. It is a handheld raid storage using 2 ½ inch SATA drives and you can hot swap the drives. I use 3 drives, 2 in the unit and the third I store offsite. When sufficient changes have occurred on the unit I pull one drive and replace it with the offsite drive, the unit automatically mirrors the drives. Unit just removed goes offsite.
I only store photos and video on this unit and I use SSD drives, less potential damage transporting.

I have a 10 inch iPad Pro with 512GB about 2 years old before introduction of USB C port model. I do 80% of my work on the iPad. Laptop or iMac are used for genealogy research where I need multiple windows or desktops open or the iPad version of a program is not as well implemented i.e., tax work, day trading.
Had need to extract individual photos from a video last week. Rather than fire up Final Cut Pro on the Mac I used a $3 iPad program, worked great.
Things have really progressed. The first computer I programmed on had 4K of memory. Can’t wait for what’s next.

Lowe's started this over a year ago. I remember in 2018 going to Lowe's and they were transitioning over to requiring active duty and vets to register for the discount. It was not, and still is not linked to their credit card. At that point I stopped going to Lowe's and took all my business to Home Depot, where I can still show my "blue" ID card and get the 10%.

I registered at Lowe’s some time ago using my DD214. Without asking you never know, what is a “blue” ID card?

Where I live FedEx often uses contract drivers. I see out for delivery but not delivered that day. I’ve had this happen on same shipment for 3 days. They quit at 5 PM. UPS doesn’t. I also get ‘cannot deliver business was closed’ when it was not.

I hate to watch DVDs because of the non skip advertising. This is what I have. I have a NAS attached to an old Mac mini. When I buy a DVD I first rip it using Mac DVDRipper Pro which only extracts the movie itself without DRM. Then I use MetaMovie which uses a movie database on the internet to add cover picture, cast, director, rating, etc to the file. Then I use an Apple TV device attached to my TV for viewing. Ripping time on my old Mac is about 30 minutes.

I have often been embarrassed and angered by some responders’ passive aggressive and outright nasty responses in a forum that claims to be supportive and informative. There is no reason to be nasty or belittling to anyone asking a question. IMO, anyone who does has no place here.

Thank you Robert.
This very thing is why I rarely contribute. Unless I missed something this was a person asking a question for the first time here. So she doesn’t understand reply and reply quote. I don’t see why name calling is necessary.
I would hope she will return.

Yes from single files, folders, entire computers. I also have two time machine backups per computer. One to a network drive, one to a locally attached drive.

Great bucket list item. Remember this is a coal burning train. Coal cinders get everywhere especially on light colored clothing and in women's hair. Naturally the kids did not care. You are going in June so people will have windows open even in the enclosed cars. Fortunately we were spending the night nearby and could clean up without having to drive several hours to our next location.
Great trip, enjoy.

If you can hear the drive spinning and it is attached to a Windows computer, do this $89 satisfaction guaranteed, refundable solution.
Purchase SpinRite v6.0 from grc.com. Run program with option 2. Program may run for hours. If you have success, copy your files off and dispose of the drive.
I have used this program for over 10 years with very high success.
I have no business affiliation with grc.com. Just a long time customer.

I oversee the video production and photography in my church. The first time we got this request I thought it strange. In the last two years we are getting requests to video funerals more frequently. We video from a distance and an angle that will not show the interior of the casket. We occasionally shoot stills. We have in one instance also videoed the graveside service of a veteran with the military servicemen and flag presentation. After some editing we produce a DVD or flash drive. We have not charged for this service.

I test every drive I purchase before putting it in service. I only use WD drives. I will not buy Seagate. I use portable drives and WD Green, Blue, Red and Gold.

I prefer not to use Fedex unless its overnight or priority. Fedex ground uses contract drivers who do not work for Fedex. Last Christmas I tracked a ground shipment for 3 days - on truck out for delivery. The driver quit at 5 PM each day; finally delivered the 3rd day.
UPS drivers deliver until truck is empty.
I use a personal mail box service to receive packages where someone can sign.
