I made sure I was at home for my expected delivery today. I checked tracking and FedEx claims I was not home for signature @ 10:10 am... THIS WAS NOT TRUE. This is the 3rd time. I finally got FedEx's phone # and filed a formal complaint. I Can't stand it when they make up excuses! I hope others call so we can get better service.

Yes, I have called them numerous times, nobody there seems to know what they are doing. Of all the delivery services out there, FedEx is by far the worst!

I receive FEDEX, UPS, and USPS packages several times weekly. Fedex provides great service for me, and is much better than the USPS or UPS. Apparently the driver on your route is the source of the problem you experienced, not the corporation itself.

I've had FedEx leave packages out by my garage in full view of anybody going by.
The only way I've known they were there is when I went outside to check mail
or something. FedEx stinks.

I agree it is the driver not the company. Here at my office it is the USPS that has horrible service including the misrepresenting of delivery attempts. On Thursday they use a temp that knows neither arabic numerals nor the english alphabet.
Find what works and insist on that service if possible.

I've been receiving packages at home from FedEx almost every week for years and have never had a single problem.

It seems to go by area. I hear good things about FedEx from other areas, but here their performance is poor.
The drivers seem OK but the office folks seem permanently out to lunch. UPS seems to know more what is important and acts like it. UPS people just get the job done. Please get your stuff together FedEx, we need you and would like yo say good things about you.

Same issues w me. Several personal shipments to my place of work because I am there 7a to 5p.
UPS never a problem.
Fed-up-Ex half of deliveries are “no one there to sign.”
Sad thing too, KEH uses only FwdEx.

It IS the driver. UPS is now making a habit of leaving packages on the trash can (rain or shine) on the street, 500’ and out of site of my house. The only way I know it’s there is because I’ve signed up for their notification service. I’ve also had a package ruined by the rain. My current FedX driver delivers to my door, but I have had to complain to get that to occur (my complaints to UPS have produced no results). The two consistently good services are my USPS carrier who is old school - always asks about my wife when I see him, and places any packages in the carport, and Amazon Prime, who always places packages at my front door.

I always feel a bit of a downer when the tracking number shows its a fedex delivery. Not sure if it will make it or not

Filing a complaint is the only resource I can think of.

Where I live FedEx often uses contract drivers. I see out for delivery but not delivered that day. I’ve had this happen on same shipment for 3 days. They quit at 5 PM. UPS doesn’t. I also get ‘cannot deliver business was closed’ when it was not.
