Thank you TriX. Appreciate the rapid response. (Fuji never answers queries).
I kinda belong to the 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' school.
Will give it a shot along with the lenses updates.
Thank you!
Q: My XT3 is still on v. 4.51.
Can I just d/l and install the latest v. 5.01 or do I have to do it incrementally, i.e. 4.52 –> 5.0 –> 5.1 or will it fubar my camera?
What Burke says.
I have a 2020 13" MBPro, 8GB RAM, 1TB SSD. (Made a mistake not getting more RAM, but I do little or no post processing so I haven't seen any slowdown even with 7 pages and 11 apps open, beaucoup tabs open in Opera browser)
So if you do use LR, PS, et.al., take Burke's advice, because you cannot upgrade the memory.
Also if you're a veteran, you can get a discount for any machine you choose.
Shoots fashion, street, et.al. No gearhead, no m-pixil chat. Portraits for $125.

But national papers aside, it's the local publications that make your community a community. It's axiomatic in the biz that "if it bleeds, it leads," but your local rag, depending on quality, is kinda the 'glue' that is essential to community cohesiveness.
Given the prices of large capacity HD's or even 1TB SSD's today, if rapid restore is a concern, why not back-up locally?
Ben,

Sanford, only one thing: the ability to use the new app instead of the joke of the old one.

Thanks Ben. I don't/haven't used the remote feature. I handhold all the time so far. Love my X-T3!

I'm still at 4.51. Don't see any feature in v. 5 of use to me. Which feature/improvement/fix impelled you to upgrade?
Aloha, Sanford

Thereis a time, a place, and a usage for any functioning camera. A good photographer with a cell phone will produce a better and possibly more artful image that an inept photographer with a state-of-the-art lates and greatest model.
Critiquing photographs and giving constructive advice are good and helpful but don't knock the guy's camera. Most photographers know the advantages and limitations of any camera. Someties they just have to work with what they have and work around the pitfalls.

A most cogent, civil and rational response. Thank you.
Someone was asking about an EXIF editor a day or three ago. Sourceforge reports there's one that works in Windows, MacOS and UNIX.
It's freeware. Read about and download: https://sourceforge.net/projects/exiftool/
